Vehicle Detail

BARN FIND! Well, not a barn find, but a dusty corner of an old building find. The pictures show the YEARS of dust. If you need me to wash the thing and take a pic or two just let me know. This is a 1973 Triumph Bonneville T140V 750cc twin. The bike ran lean on one side and damaged a piston and was parked since (late eighties). It is mostly complete, but will need restoration or use it as a donor for your chopper project. I pulled the cylinder head off and it is standard bore, so it will make for an easy rebuild. The tranny seems good. I was planning on restoring this bike, but I have another Triumph project that needs my time right now. The bike has: frame, engine, carbs, smiths tach and speedo, tank, seat, fenders, light housings, air boxes, etc, etc. The bike is missing: headlight bulb and ring, tail light lens, left exhaust pipe, some nuts and bolts and other stuff I'm sure. No title. I have gotten a few titles from International title service for old cars and bikes with low cost and little hassle. $500 deposit is due within 24hrs via paypal. The remaining balance is due at the time of pick-up. The bike must be picked up within 7 days. If you arrange shipping I can deliver it to a local shipping company but you must contact me first! I may be able to deliver to your home if it is close, if you live too far I would have to charge for gas and time. This bike is sold as is where is. I have described this vehicle to the best of my knowledge, if you need anymore info please ask! On Sep-07-10 at 21:08:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok, I've received some emails asking for some pics of the bike CLEAN. Well, here are some pictures after a quick rinsing off. I didn't scrub, degrease or pressure wash because I didn't have the time, but this should give a better idea of what the bike is. One picture is of the inside of the gas tank.
