Vehicle Detail
Nice original 1950 DeSoto 2 door DeLuxe with 88,000 miles This DeSoto is as nice an original as you can find. This car is not a show car, Its a very nice driver. The car has had one repaint in the original color, that looks good but has a fue miner road chips, mostly on the front end. As you can see, no dents or dings are in this DeSoto's nice strate body. (Please look at pictures closely) The chrome is ok but would need refinished, for show. Some of the chrome has some pitting from age but would rechrome very easily. For a driver, I would leave it as is. The stainless is in great shape, again look at pictures. The car has no rust what so ever and has been stored inside most all its life. The interior looks great, the dash is bright and all gages work. The horn and dash lights do not work. I think they just need a fuse. The radio hums but I could not get a station. The car has a fresh tune up, newly rebuilt carb and new core in the radiator. This DeSoto is ready to go. I'm saleing this nice little DeSoto for a good friend, and Precedent of our car club, (One of the oldest car clubs in America) only because he has ran out of room in his shop. He has decided to sale a few of his collection. Look for others to be for sale soon. A nice 1951 Ford 2 door, also a 1920 Dodge, both good cars. You can call the number posted for more information. This Nice Little DeSoto 2 Door, runs good but has some minor smoke as expected when stating, and under compression on a very long down hill. In town It runs great, with no signs of eny problems. I think this DeSoto needs driven ( Its been sitting for years.) (Don't tell Jerry that.) The Tip Tow Drive, or Fluid Drive transmission works well, and is the 4 speed type. This car runs down the road very smoothly and is one of Jerry's favorites. For more information Please call Bill (208)750-0000 Buyer is responsible for shipping and shipping costs.
