Fun little car to drive, would be a snap to finish out to show quality and tool around town! Body looks a little rough, but it's solid. Only a couple of holes, easily filled in and patched. Brand-new convertible top, installed fall 2009. A couple panels on the driver's seat were patched at the same time. Factory AM radio. Original flat 6 engine virtually untouched except for battery (fall '09), new plugs and wires (fall '09), and carb rebuild 3 years ago. Exterior was originally a mist blue metallic, would look extremely sharp refinished in that color. Currently wearing a coat of POR-15, haven't had a spot of (new) rust in the 4 years I've owned it. This car is my "grumpy old man", he'll test you to see how dedicated you are, then run anyway. I don't want to sell him, but with a new baby, I just don't have the time or the space that he deserves. Give him a good home and a little love, and he'll reward you with years of driving enjoyment. I'll discuss delivery with the winning bidder. Shipping/delivery will be the responsibility of the winner; I'm willing to haul the Corvair within a 1-state radius if need be.
