1965 MUSTANG FASTBACK 2+2 POPPY RED ORIGINAL PONY CAR Automatic transmission, 2 barrel carb. w/ electronic ignition, power steering, Rally-Pac, trumpet exhaust, fog lamps, black Pony interior. Please see data plate for other infirmation. ThIs car was restored sometime in the mid 90's by the owner. I purchased the car in 2002. This is a very nice Mustang and would make a great daily driver. All that needs to be replaced on the car is the front and I have all the components to do that and will be included in the sale. The Rally-Pac is not original to the car but I do have the loom to hook it up. Underneath the car is quite solid. It is a California car so it does not have the rust issues that Utah cars have. Styled steel wheels are aftermarket and shine nicely. The tires have virtually no wear. This car shifts smoothly through all gears and I have been told this is a "numbers matching" car though I have not verified this myself. The paint is a nice deep shine and waxes up great. There are two cracks in the paint on the passenger side near the corner of the back window. All the glass is original to the car and is in great shape. As you can see from the pictures the lines on this car are great. All door lines / jam lines look great. The interior is in great shape and no one has hacked up the interior panels for speakers. The odometer reads 89504 but the odometer is not working. This car would make a great daily driver or make a nice addition to any car collection. I purchased the car with intentions of driving it but it just sits in the garage. This car passed Utah state inspection in July 2009. I have decided to sell it and hopefully the next owner will drive it and enjoy it. The photos speak for themselves . . . . . . . this is a great Mustang. Other photos are available upon request. There is a "knock" when you go over bumps and sometimes around corners. I decided to purchase all new front end components but have not had the time to to do the work.
