This auction is for a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (P71) that was used as a police vehicle. It has 100,583 original miles and is a rust-free California car. The car comes with a clear California title and has just passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). The car is sold without license plates. This vehicle is equipped with a 4.6L EFI V8 gas engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, 3.27 traction-lok rear axle, silicone coolant hoses, air conditioning, comfort convenience group (8-way power driver’s seat, cruise control, AM/FM stereo radio with cassette), anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power trunk release, power adjustable pedals, rear window defroster and driver/passenger side air bags. The vehicle condition is consistent with most used police vehicles. This car runs and drives well and has not been involved in any major accidents. The transmission was replaced (under warranty) at 35,000 miles and head gaskets were installed at 76,000 miles. The tires and brakes are good. Everything on the car works including the A/C. There are holes located in the roof and one in the truck lid which where used for police equipment (see photos). Both front doors have been painted flat black. The interior has been altered to allow for police equipment and the dome light does not work when the doors are opened but does work when using the headlight switch. The vehicle comes with the factory jack but does not include a spare wheel or tire. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance service. Included with the sale are the service/repair records for the car dating back to 2004, owner’s manual and original window sticker. Scheduled inspections of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. This vehicle is being sold in AS-IS condition with no warranty expressed or implied. We have done our best to describe this vehicle as accurately as possible. Buyer is responsible for registering the vehicle as well as arranging for vehicle pick up. If vehicle is being sent out of the country, the buyer is responsible to complete all required paperwork. The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received and cleared. Vehicle must be picked up within 15-days from close of auction.
