Thank you for viewing another Exclusive 5 Star auto sales " NO RESERVE" Muscle Car Auctions. 1970 AMC AMX Go Package 390/ 325 HP . BIG BAD ORANGE WITH SHADOW MASK SCHEME. Highly Collectible and desirable..... Motor is fresh and has a slightly upgraded cam, aluminum intake and a large Holley Carb. All else is stock. Factory Tach, factory disc brakes. Unfortunatly when we got this car the build tag in the door was missing. We believe to the best of our knowlege that the car is a # matching car...Classic Amx cars/engines were difficult to decode because of lack of stampings with the exception of a sticker on the valve cover that usually never survives the test of time and owners, but this engine has large "390" stampings between the engine mounts, and we were told by an AMC specialist the only 1970 blocks has a slight offset on the intake bolt patterns... the bolts closer to the carb were slightly lower..this engine has that offset(pic)...due to the lowest production numbers of any AMX..its fair to say that this is the original engine. Orig power steering. Orig floors. There is no undercoating on this car...nothing is hidden..no rust ..what you see is what you get. Radio is missing as well as the wiper motor . Orig super clean interior..no rips , no cracks, This was an A/C car, but is is not intact. There is a small imprefection(hairline crack) above the drivers rear quater panel ( pic).... I personally drove this vehicle from place of purchase and drove it on a 70 mile trip back home on a 97 degree day....the temp guage stayed like a rock at 1/4. Drive ANYWHERE...NO LET DOWNS... YOUR EXPECTATIONS WILL BE EXCEEDED! ..... NADA classic retail values are as follows HIGH RETAIL $45940....AVERAGE RETAIL $34870...i figure this car definately rates between average and high.
