1959 Cadillac 4dr Hardtop FLEETWOOD Super 60 series Original Paint - Olympic white Classic Black & White tuxedo interior 390 4v and loaded to the hilt. 125k original miles according to the Az title. Fins are so huge, you want to straddle them and ride them down the street ! Bought originally here in Tucson from Paulin Cadillac . Has had only 1 owner who maintained the car well over the years till he passed away about 8 yrs ago. Motor and trans feel great. This car gets some much attention As Is its crazy. I dont want to sell I may have to here. Hard to start when cold, maybe need choke adjustment. A unmolested survivor ! Interior sun damaged from the Az sun, but would also restore pretty easily. Tires old too, need replacing. Eldo Hubcaps Radio and Power Seats and Trunk pull down all work ! Car is loaded, as you would expect in a Caddy. Brakes feel good, and think 1 door glass is cracked. 2 of the windows work well, other 2 need lubrication on the tracks. Car runs and drives nice, but carb may need a rebuild and and tune up on the motor soon. When you first take off or back up, there is a clunk in the rearend area. Not sure if its a rear end bearing or bushing in the rear suspsension but its very noticeable. Hasnt stopped my from driving it up to the corner market or to the gas station. Would be an easy restoration. Drive around as is or restore it to its original glory, or somewhere in between. Car is super solid, doors etc all close well and tight. What you will see in the pics below is: Patina that you cant put a price on Factory Paint baked down to primer in spots Chrome and Stainless Trim is in amazing shape for its age. Sun beat Interior but complete. Fins for as long as the eye can see :) Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. Check out ALL the pics below and you can see for yourself. Az sun has been hard on the paint and interior but not on the sheetmetal. Obviously this is not a restored car. A VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND FINNED BEAST ! We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. This is a great car to restore and would do so nicely. It needs interior, paint and probably some suspension work but it is an example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets ! Check out All the pics and then look for more info AFTER the pics etc. There are over 100, make sure you use the schroll bar on the side to see them all. Not alot of these cars where made in 59 and we all know, not many survived. Esp cars in Arizona, and they dont come up for auction in this original un restored condition very often. If you treat yourself to buying one of our cars, youll never buy a rust bucket again from anyone !! Wiper arms and motor missing. Doing restoration on this type of project is less labor intensive which means overall cost is less too ! With less horrid surprises later on. So there you have it, the pics show very well what to expect. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you.
