This is an excellent example of a 2001 Taurus Wagon. This SES model looks fantastic, and the optional DOHC V6 runs great. It comes loaded with about $3000 in factory options, including the SES package (power seat, CD player, ABS), leather seats, the wagon package (a 3rd row seat and cargo privacy shade), and the more powerful Duratec V6. This Taurus has just 65,331 original miles on it. The exterior is in excellent shape. The paint shines all around. Its a pale green metallic color that Ford calls "Spruce Green". There aren't any notable dents or dings on the body, and Autocheck shows accurate miles, no accident history or any other problems. It has been in Florida since at least 2002. Looks great from any angle. Exterior features include alloy wheels and roof rails. The interior is also in very nice shape, obviously a reflection of the low mileage on the car. The leather seats have no rips, burn marks, or tears. The dash, headliner, and door panels are also in good condition. The driver's seat has power controls. The rear seat is clean and comfortable. The cargo area is also spotless. There is a retractable privacy shade. A 3rd row seat folds up from the floor of the cargo area. This Taurus has some nice luxury and convenience features: Power windows, locks, and mirrors; Remote entry; AM/FM/CD Stereo; Tilt wheel; Cruise control; cold air conditioning; Rear wiper; Rear defrost, and much, much more. Safety features include a dual air bags and anti-lock brakes. You can seat 3 people up front, or fold out a storage console with cup holders. There's no sign that this car was ever smoked in - no burn marks, no smoke odor, and the lighter looks like it was never used. The manual is with the car. The optional 3.0 liter DOHC Duratec V6 is rated at 200 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque. That's 45 more hp are 15 more lb-ft of torque than the base V6 - a noticeable difference. Keep up with the oil changes, and this motor will keep running smoothly for many, many miles. There's very good tread on the tires - they are almost new. Autocheck shows accurate mileage and no problems. This car could be test-driven, so it might have a few more miles by the time the auction is over. You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for full purchase price. If you are the winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up (sorry, we do not accept credit cards or Paypal at this time) . If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay applicable sales tax and registration fees.
