Audi Allroad 4.2 "Rare" This auction is for a rare Allroad 4.2. It is difficult to find 4.2 models in good shape. As all Audi dealers will tell you the 4.2 engines are much better than the 2.7's. I am the second owner of the car and both owners were non-smokers. I am sad to have to sell the Audi. We are having another child and need even more room. This car was used almost exclusively to drive my family from Connecticut to New Hampshire for skiing every weekend. Plus a few holiday trips to Pittsburgh. I would say 80% of all miles were highway miles. The car has many emenities that come with it. It has 4 new tires, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, which have maybe 3,000 miles. I also put in Audi (ome) All-Weather mats in front, rear and far back. It comes with XM radio. This car is really fun to drive and very safe. It is the best car in snow I have ever driven. It has a system (with 4 height settings) that allows you to raise and lower the car in certain conditions. It will automatically lower when on the highway traveling at higher speeds to give you the safest ride. I used it in the higher settings in deeper snow and it was great. It handles very well and smooth on long trips as well and fun on backroads. It has been maintained by an Audi dealer as well as a shop that works on only Audi and VW's. I also had clear 3M protective film placed on the front of the car to protect it from digs. This car has signs of normal use but no major scratches or dents. I would say overall it is in good shape with some aspectc in very good shape. The list price for this Audi Allroad 4.2 was over $52,000.00.
