Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a vintage 1974 GT750 LeMans/Water Buffalo/Kettle. This is a Triple cylinder water-cooled 2-stroke. This bike is in original condition. I have owned this bike since 2002 and have only put about 1100 miles on it since purchasing it. It has been garage kept since I've owned it. I have performed or had performed the following maintenance on this bike--complete flush and fill of radiator with Havoline Extended Life Coolant, changed spark plugs, changed transmission/gearbox oil, added in-line fuel filter, replaced front brake fluid, adjusted clutch and lever height, adjusted front brake lever and height, replaced front and rear tires, replaced rear inner tube and rim strip, re-packed rear wheel bearings, re-built rear wheel with new spoke set, replaced rear wheel brake shoes and adjusted brakes, replaced gear shift switch, replaced chain with rx-ring heavy duty chain, replaced front and rear sprockets, checked and adjusted oil-metering valve, replaced grips and safety-wired same, adjusted throttle cables and adjusted idle speed, replaced fuel lines, replaced and adjusted points & timing, replaced tail lens, re-built carbs with keyster carb kits, cleaned and adjusted carbs to manual specs, re-built petcock/tap, replaced air filter, replaced flasher unit, cleaned exhaust baffles, replaced headlight bulb. Also included are a set of (3) individual K & N air filters, new fork seals, new front brake pads, new rim strip and inner tube for front wheel, new set of contact breakers/points. There is a crease/dent in the front fender that can probably be pounded out/repaired. Otherwise, this bike is in very good condition....there is no/zero rust in the tank and the tank has not been creamed! This is a very collectible bike and is probably one of the best engines Suzuki ever made! Bullet-proof engine that performs more like a 4-stroke than the the 2-stroke it is. It starts quickly and effortlessly. It is electric start and also has a kick-starter that is surprisingly easy to kick over--even for a 750 Triple.Transmission is very smooth. You can ride 2 up on this bike at 80 mph all-day. Enjoy bidding on this piece of history.
