Vehicle Detail
Honda 2005 CR-250R. Excellent near new condition with NO ISSUES. It starts instantly, idles, shifts and runs perfect. This bike has less than 3 total hours on it since new. The engine has never been into. I wanted to make it look like a 2010/2011 model and made these changes: I have installed a new Honda 2010 Front Number Plate & Front Fender, White Rear Fender ('09/'10/'11 like), Red Seat Cover, Current Honda Front & Rear Disc Rotors and "CRE" (E for Enduro) graphics. The '05 CR-250R's are the same mechanically as the '06 and '07 (last year made) models except for graphics. They have significant/numerous engine changes from the '04's and older models. A lot of this technology was developed and used on Ricky Carmichael's 2004 CR-250R to win his "Perfect Season" (won every AMA Pro Supercross & Outdoor Motocross that year). I have disassembled the linkage, swingarm and steering stem and greased them properly as Honda has been known to go light in these areas on grease (yes, they needed it). I have also added these extras: Moto Tassinari V-Force 3 Reed Cage, E-Line Carbon Fiber Pipe Guard, MSR Rear Caliper Holder/Disc Guard, Moose Radiator Guards, FMF Turbine Core 2 USFS Approved Silencer, Trail-Tech Kickstand, Carbon Fiber Skid Plate, Red ASI Radiator Hoses and "Pro-Seal" to the air filter box for positive air filter sealing. Also new aftermarket Silver ('09/'10 look) clutch cover. I installed a new AFAM Aluminum 50 tooth rear sprocket and Gold Renthal chain (front sprocket still looks absolutly new). I installed new Maxxis IT Front & Rear Tires (not 'desert' models and ZERO time on them). Heavy Duty Tubes also installed. I also had heavier front fork and rear shock springs installed for 200+ pound rider. The add-ons were very expensive even bought at reduced retail prices. I am in my mid-fifties and had planned to hit the local Hare Scrambles Vet scene, but not to be in this economy. As you can see, the bike is near perfect and just broke in. The number one comment from friends when they saw the bike was: "I didn't know Honda started making these again"! All in good fun, but there is absolutly no intent to decieve what this is - An '05 Honda CR-250R. I have over $5500 (my wife would kill me if she knew the real amount) invested here. Clear Title. Owners manual and spark plug/spoke tool included. Winning bidder must handle any & all shipping arrangements. My Loss - Your Gain!
