Vehicle Detail

I have for sale a unique and very rare 1976 Chevrolet Chalet , It is basically a 4 wheel drive blazer, but was made from the factory with a fully loaded pop up camper. This particular model came with the high end cheyenne package which included better trim, air conditioning, cruise control, and wheel trim rings. Inside you'll find a propane heater and stove; water tank and sink, and either an icebox or a fridge. Shelves, closets and a removable tabletop round out the furnishings. Comes with a factory fold out table, extra lights, and rear stereo speakers. (They did not, however come with a shower or toilet.) In short, it's a home away from home, for a couple of people for the weekend. The Chalet is surprisingly roomy inside; due to the headroom provided by the camper unit's extra height, even tall and/or wide people find the interior quite comfortable. This is a full walk through unit, which means you can enter from front, or rear, and the top does pop up for added room. The chalet seats two in the cab, and up to four, sideways, in the camper. The camper seats fold down to sleep two, and some units came with fold-out upper bunks to sleep two more. It comes with a receiver hitch, and a front mounted spare tire. The chalet is in fair shape for its age with a low 88,000 miles. There is the typical chevy rust spots in places, and the paint is in about fair condition. The 400 cubic inch engine runs well now, but will probably need to be freshened up at some point down the line. It is 4 wheel drive equipt, with locking hubs, but the transfer case linkage is a bit stuck from sitting, sure its an easy fix. It runs, and drives smooth down the highway at 65 with ease. It does have an older, but working tape player, with amp, and good kenwood speakers. It also has an AC to DC converter, and will run lights off of the second battery located under the hood. This Chalet is in fair condition for its age, and is a great way to go hunting, fishing, and camping. Hate to see it go, lost my storage.Good luck bidding!
