As it sits, you can get in this car and drive it around, although it will need work to bring it back cosmetically and will need some of the basics mechanically. This car was a daily driver for a guy in the Los Angeles area until this happened. If you look at my photos, you can see the car is in good shape and is mostly rust free! And I would assume this is a California car. I am asking 4500 for it as is, my phone is 949 285 8 0 1 1 Exterior wise, as you can see, it was once a good looking car, and from the right angle, it still does look good. But since the accident, the rear end was hit and the front went under someones bumper it looks like thus denting the hood. The front will need a new hood, the rear a new engine lid and lisence plate frame which I have and can include with the car. The lisence cover will come with the car, however I need $400 for both the hood and deck lid. The bumperette and center section took the brunt of the hit and I believe the bumpers can be saved as well as the bumperettes as well. I am not a body man, but I know this is all very repairable. Interior wise, everything is there and in good shape. Nothing has been restored very recently, but overall it's good enough for a driver. The front and rear seat are in good condition, some minor splitting on top of driver seat at seam. The carpeting is all there and in good shape. The dash is intact, all gauges are there, temp gauge seems off, but it does give a reading. It has an Alpine stereo that isn't turning on, don't know if it needs a fuse or what. All running lights work including, turn signals, headlights and tail lights, brake lights and hazards. Speedometer and tachometer and gas gauge and clock all work! Steering wheel is in good shape, leather wrap looks very nice, and horn works. Dash has vinyl covering which is in good shape, but need to be reglued in a few spots. Door panels are in good shape, and there are speakers mounted in them. Drivers side window regulator goes 3/4 of the way up and then stop and you have to help it with your hand. One key locks all doors and unlocks. All seat belts are there and functional. Mechanically, I had the car looked over and found that the master cylinder will need to be replaced and was also told all the pads should be replaced too. The 1600cc 912 engine runs very good. It starts right up, the choke works well and it accelerates well. It will backfire occasionally on deceleration, probably due to the dual carburators needing to be tuned better. But overall it runs very good. The transmission and clutch are in good shape, I have been driving it here and there, being careful becuase of the brakes, and it never gridined going into gear or popped out of gear or reverse. The clutch feels good. My mechanic also pointed out that the steering column bushing should be replaced. I did have the valve cover gaskets replaced. If you look under the car, you can see the suspension pan was replaced and looks to have been a professional job. Also the drivers and passenger floor pans were replaced too. There is a small rust bubble on one of the doors, but for the most part the car is very dry and rust free. It also feels like it will need new shocks. You are looking at a 67 912 Porsche, the car has been in an accident as you can see and does have a salvage title. As it sits, you can get in this car and drive it around, although it will need work to bring it back cosmetically and will need some of the basics mechanically. This car was a daily driver for a guy in the Los Angeles area until this happened. If you look at my photos, you can see the car is in good shape and is mostly rust free! Exterior wise, as you can see, it was once a good looking car, and from the right angle, it still does look good. But since the accident, the rear end was hit and the front went under someones bumper it looks like thus denting the hood. The front will need a new hood, the rear a new engine lid and lisence plate frame which I have and can include with the car. The lisence cover will come with the car, however I need $400 for both the hood and deck lid. The bumperette and center section took the brunt of the hit and I believe the bumpers can be saved as well as the bumperettes as well. I am not a body man, but I know this is all very repairable.

Interior wise, everything is there and in good shape. Nothing has been restored very recently, but overall it's good enough for a driver. The front and rear seat are in good condition, some minor splitting on top of driver seat at seam. The carpeting is all there and in good shape. The dash is intact, all gauges are there, temp gauge seems off, but it does give a reading. It has an Alpine stereo that isn't turning on, don't know if it needs a fuse or what. All running lights work including, turn signals, headlights and tail lights, brake lights and hazards. Speedometer and tachometer and gas gauge and clock all work! Steering wheel is in good shape, leather wrap looks very nice, and horn works. Dash has vinyl covering which is in good shape, but need to be reglued in a few spots. Door panels are in good shape, and there are speakers mounted in them. Drivers side window regulator goes 3/4 of the way up and then stop and you have to help it with your hand. One key locks all doors and unlocks.

All seat belts are there and functional.

Mechanically, I had the car looked over and found that the master cylinder will need to be replaced and was also told all the pads should be replaced too. The 1600cc 912 engine runs very good. It starts right up, the choke works well and it accelerates well. It will backfire occasionally on deceleration, probably due to the dual carburators needing to be tuned better. But overall it runs very good. The transmission and clutch are in good shape, I have been driving it here and there, being careful becuase of the brakes, and it never gridined going into gear or popped out of gear or reverse. The clutch feels good. My mechanic also pointed out that the steering column bushing should be replaced. I did have the valve cover gaskets replaced. If you look under the car, you can see the suspension pan was replaced and looks to have been a professional job. Also the drivers and passenger floor pans were replaced too. There is a small rust bubble on one of the doors, but for the most part the car is very dry and rust free. It also feels like it will need new shocks.
