Vehicle Detail
1999 Ford Taurus SHO, V8, original owner, 57,216 miles I purchased this amazing automobile from a dealership in South Carolina in the Spring of 2000. Runs great, sounds amazing, very dependable, no major problems. This Ford SHO is a very collectable car. It is the last, and the best year of the V8s and will soon increase in value due to the rarity and its immaculate condition. I am recently retired and unfortunately need to cut back on my number of toys. My loss is hopefully your gain. White with gray interior. Air conditioner Driver/passenger airbags Cruise control Leather power seats Moon roof 6 disc CD Power locks, windows, mirrors, steering Anti-lock brakes Tilt steering wheel I have changed the oil, (Mobil One), every 3,500 miles with new filter. Has K&N Air cone filter. Transmission fluid changed in 2006. Two coil packs and alternator were replaced in 2008. New battery, 2 new Flow Master Mufflers replaced in 2009. Doug Lewis from Ford Performance (SHO Shop) welded cam sprockets when I found other owners were having issues. At that time I also added sub frame connectors to strengthen frame. I have had a Ford Tach mounted on dash and large front brake rotors. Original Goodyear RSA Eagles – front two will need to be replaced within 5,000 miles. Rear tires are fine. Small blemish on driver’s front seat. Other are in perfect condition. I have a car trailer and may be able to assist in delivery for a fair per mileage fee. This auction has a low reserve. Please call Charlie with any questions (401) 523-5670 – serious buyers only. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please contact me prior to bidding if you have 0 feedback. Happy Bidding! *Free vehicle history report is stating there were two owners. I am technically the first owner. OC Welch Ford Dealership in SC originally sold car on their lot as a 1999 left-over in early 2000.On Aug-27-10 at 06:02:21 PDT, seller added the following information: WELCOME BIDDERS, AND WATCHES, IF YOUR BIDDING ON THIS SHO, AND YOUR NOT THE HIGHEST BIDDER, YOU MAY WANT TO RECONSIDER YOUR BID, DON'T LET THIS BEAUTIFUL FORD SHO GET BY YOU FOR A MATTER OF A FEW HUNDARD DOLLARS. I HAVE DISCRIBED THIS CAR AS HONEST AS I CAN, AND I FEEL THE NEW OWNER WILL BE VERY HAPPY. I MADE THAT MISTAKE ON A PICK UP TRUCK, AND HAVE BEEN MAD AT MYSELF EVER SINCE. On Aug-27-10 at 10:30:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I up-dated this E-bay auction earlier this morning, and again I want to add what I think is very importment. Because I am selling this car locally, I have the right to pull off E-bay auction at any time, for a local offer, this I don't want to do, but at the rate the bidding is going, and I know most people will wait until the very end of the auction to bid, hoping to buy very cheap, I have received a few calls to make offer off E-bay also. This I won't do, as I think this is dishonest, but want the auction to move faster for the price the car is worth. Please, again if your watching, and waiting until the end to bid, it maybe to late.....thanks again, and I'll answer all questions the best I can. Charlie
