Vehicle Detail
If you have any questions about this vehicle after visiting the links, and reading the discription, please feel free to ask. I am on vacation this week, so I will be here to assist you! Up for grabs is a 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula, with the LT1. This vehicle has been a warhorse at the track, and a fun car on the street (still getting 15 mpg, even with this cam) I won't get into ALL of the parts here, but it can all be seen on the car's Fquick page: http://www.fquick.com/garages/Pontiac/Firebird_Formula/1995/31533/ This car was a gift to myself when I came home from Iraq, but now I don't have the time or space to keep it around. It really needs tuned for the new cam, not the lt4 hotcam that used to be in it. The car was put on a mustang dyno, and showed 388 rwhp and 402 lb-ft of torque on its best run. If I can locate the paper again, it will be included as well. The best time this summer has been an 11.66 @ 117 mph in the 1/4 mile, on a 1.68 sec sixty-foot. Sorry, that was my fastest time so that got framed :) ALSO: The PA Emissions and State inspection is valid through January 2011! A brief overview: *Rebuilt motor (40K on new block), Trans (7K since rebuild), and rear end (8K on rear) *226/232 custom grind camshaft (111 LSA) from Lloyd Elliott / Bullet Racing Cams (power band at 1900 - 6300 rpm) *Lloyd Elliott Stage 2 Aluminum heads (2.02/1.6 valves) with 11.5:1 compression, Comp Cams springs, 7* locks, 1.6 ratio rockers, Manley Raceflo valves, hardened pushrods. *3.73 Motive rear gears *Full bolt-ons, including long tube headers and true dual exhaust with cutouts (recommend removal) and !cats *All, if not most sensors have been replaced, including MAP, MAF, IAC, IAT, O2's, knock sensor, and knock module (LT4) *Headlight motor was upgraded to brass gears instead of the plastic OEM *Tires, brakes, and all fluids have been replaced within the last year. Tires still maintain more than 8/32 worth of tread. * New distributor installed 2 months ago! *245/50ZR16 Riken Raptor tires on rear, and 225/50ZR16 Republic's in the front *Cragar Soft-8's with brand new DOT Slicks are NOT included, but may be added for $350 (Slicks are $190 a pop brand new from Hoosier) Recommended replacement: *Fix exhaust rattle or get a new cat-back *Tighten Trans line (one line is leaking, but just needs tightened) and tighten dipstick tube *O2 sensors (rec OEM) if you plan on driving it more than 150 miles, as it runs rich in open loop. *Driver's seat has a tear *Replace the in-line fuse to the stereo *Some tears and stains on carpet *Driver's T-top has scratches front he previous owner *Passenger rear seat was removed for the plumbing of the nitrous *Window motor is slowly going out, but it still works at the moment (easy replacement) *Fuel gauge is hit or miss. If this bugs anyone, the fuel pump can be replaced (was replaced in 09) NOTICE: This vehicle is being sold as-is, but includes other items along with the car: *Tunercat software, and the OBD connector, that has a USB end for easy laptop tuning. *Zex Wet kit (125hp jets) with 10lb bottle, and blow down tube *Cragar Soft-8 wheels (for the slicks only) *225/50ZR16 Snow tires (rear only) *Sony head unit (installed) with USB function (for all of you iPod owners, it’s great!) Videos of the car can be seen on my youtube page. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KykeoNmuAGM NOTE: The buyer is in charge of transportation of the vehicle. I am willing to drive up to 2 hours away from Pittsburgh if this helps you. Just get me some gas money and we'll call it even if that works best for you. If not, I can get the vehicle to a depot for transportation.
