Vehicle Detail

This Corvette has been completely redone. Just over 1000 miles since completion. Over 20k invested. We started with a high mileage Clean car to keep the cost down knowing we were going to rebuild everything to high performance Standards. This came equipped with all factory options including Leather power Sport seats with lumbar adjustments. Climate control, Cruise, Traction control, etc. The first thing we did was have the car professionally stripped and painted back to the original Jet Black color. Next the interior was gone over only needing to replace the leather seat covers, carpeting and console trim pieces due to sun fading. A new convertible top was installed (with the original style glass rear window with defroster) A DVD/Navigation system replaces the factory Stereo and fits in the stock opening. It flips open to load CD/DVD's Next was the drive train. A Fully balanced 383 stroker engine was built with approximately 450 horse power. Airflow Research Heads, Msd Ignition, LT-4 Intake, Eagle Crank/rods, Custom computer tuning . This engine Runs Beautifully and Makes this car Very Very fast yet gets 18mpg average! It will scream if you want to row through the gears or purr like a kitten and cruise just like the factory engine around town. Never overheats in traffic. The Exhaust starts with Jet hot Coated headers, High Flow Catalytic converters and a Borla full Stainless exhaust system. Not loud in the car but sounds great when you stand on it. The Flywheel/Clutch/Pressure plate Have been replaced with HP parts. It has a Hurst short throw Shifter The 6-Speed transmission was inspected and resealed only needing to replace the fluid with full Synthetic oil. Engine and rear end are full synthetic also. The entire Braking system has been replaced: Master cyl, Calipers and Slotted rotors. I wanted to make sure a car this fast can stop on a dime. Next the suspension was gone over. All bushings replaced with urethane ones. Wheel bearing replaced with genuine Delco units(the aftermarket ones will not last 15k miles) . New ball joints etc. It handles like it's glued to road yet rides like stock. Wheels/tires: Chip Foose Wheels 19" front and 20" Rear. Toyo tires. This set cost almost $ 3000.00 It really makes the car stand out amongst all the other Vette's on the road. They fill the wheel wells nicely and do not rub. Some things I want disclose, It has a minor oil leak at the rear of the intake manifold. It puts a couple of drips on the ground when parked overnite. Simple fix of replacing the gasket. Because of the Staggered wheel size (bigger in back/smaller in front) it will turn on the ars/abs warning lites after a few miles . This can be corrected by programming the computer for the tire sizes. It doesn't bother me so I never bothered with it. Note: It does not turn on the check engine lite just the traction control and abs. The first set of headers we had on the car placed the right side catalytic converter too close to the floor on the right side(it was actually touching the trans tunnel) and it burned a small hole through that caught the carpet on fire on the passenger side floor. This has been repaired by installing better Fitting headers, Repairing the hole, replacing the carpet and adding a heat shield just for insurance. I wanted to disclose this as my insurance paid me on this and it might show up in a car fax at some later date. I do not like surprises and I'm sure the future owner of this car would not either. Unfortunately I have to sell this car to finance a long time restoration on a classic car that's nearing completion. This is a beautiful car that looks better and performs better than most Vettes of it's age. I only drive it on nice weekends and other than the mishap with the exhaust it has never missed a beat. You can buy this car at a fraction of what I have into it. Feel free to contact me and inspect the car. I can work with the shipper of your choice to arrange for the car to be picked up at anytime. I hold a clear title to the car and will not let it move until all funds are secured. I require a deposit within 48 hours of auction end and final payment within 7 days.
