Hello everyone and welcome to my listing. For sale is a 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC Coupe Blue exterior/interior. This is the rare European model,note the single headlight on each side. US models came with twin headlights. This car was purchased by my father 18 months ago drove it very little then it was parked the last 10 months in our backyard. Car was running excellent when it was acquired but now has sat for a long time. It will need a distributor and fuel tank drained out for it to be on the road again. Previous owners were Merc lovers and I have service records for this car over 8K in receipts. Paint is faded and there is rust on trunk floor and left side under/behind door. Driver seat has minor cracks but the passenger seat is torn with plenty of cracks. Back leather seat is in perfect shape,headliner is good. Carpet has plenty of stains, dash and sidepanels are in good shape. Engine is clean and wheels are original from factory. This car is worth a lot of money even just in decent shape. If you have time/knowhow this is a perfect candidate for full restoration or just a paintjob will make ride look good. 4.5 liter V8 was smooth and powerful,I drove the car from Coral Gables to North Miami when we first got it.
