Up for sale is my 79 Firebird. Without going into details my wife decided its her or the car, after a lot thought the car is for sale. (It was a really hard decision) I have only had the car for about a year. Here is the rundown: Late 70's Chevy 350 SB, 2 bolt main. Every gasket was relpaced when the motor was overhauled before it was put in. Full legnth headers Holley 650 Spreadbore Carb Full dynaflow exhaust wuth turbo mufflers, no cats New 4 core radiator New Water Pump New custom acessorie brackets New Battery New Motor & Trans Mounts Trans is an early 80's Th400. Electronic speedometer parts were removed and mechanical components were installed to run the speedometer. Trans has new gaskets and filters Drive shaft Was customized to fit and had the nessessary slid shaft installed. Rear end gear is about 276, new gaskets were installed. New subframe mounts were installed when the motor was out. New Heater Core Before i bought the car the brakes and suspention were compleatly overhauled. She has new shocks and handles tight. What sold me on the car when I bought it is that there is no rust, none on the fenders by the doors, none on the door sills, none on the trunk lid, with the exeption on a silver dollar size hole from antifreeze from the old heater core the floors are like new. Also the interior is in very good condition, the seats have some wear but are not in bad shape, the carpet is a bit stained and a little shabby, but still presentable. The door panels rear deck and plastic interior peices are in good shape, the headliner must be reacent, its like new. the dash pad is a bit cracked, but could easily be covered or replaced. The console has a crack on the passanger side, but is presentable. Other details: I had an aftermarket oil pressure gauge installed next to the ciggarette lighter, it uses power from the cigarette lighter, so that does not work. The gauge is a little twitchy. It works some of the time.The blower motor went a few weeks ago. I have the parts to put the A/C back toghether, I figured I would do it when I changed the blower motor. The power steering leaks, not bad. I add fluid every 3 weeks, but it does spot up my driveway. The steering box needs to be replaced.
