This auction is for a 1936 International pick-up. These older Internationals are quite rare and do not come up for sale very often. The present owner has owned the truck since the 60's and now is getting up in years and has decided to sell the truck. It is a very low milage truck with only 49,000 miles on it. He purchased the truck from a local family 40 some years ago and they are still in the area and can probably complete the history on the truck, as he is not sure who owned it before them. The present owner recently took the truck to a local garage and had the brake wheel cylinders rebuilt, but they never got around to doing the master cylinder so that would still have to be done. The truck over all is very original except for the rear fenders, which apparently were hand made at some point in it's life. The bed is appears to be original as well as the rest of the body. The grille is very straight and the running boards appear to also be in good shape. It has had some bodywork done to the body and it had been repainted. Once the brakes are repaired the truck can be driven as is or it would make a great candidate to be restored. I tried to read the vin number off of the data plate but it is hard to read. As I read it and researched it the number came up as C-1 50360, but I can not promise that I read it correctly. The owner has the title for the truck but was not available to get it for me, currently away up in Wisconsin. I have included pictures of the data plate and if anyone can correct me, please do.
