We normally sell beads on eBay... But every now and then we'll sell a personal item here... Its always a love / hate thing... because we love our collections so much. But there comes a time in one's lives, that we must allow our treasures to obtain a new homes, and this is true with a car I have Owned & LOVED for a very long time. As a child I remember always looking at Triumph's with my Dad, so when I grew up & married, I wanted to start my new life, with the car of my childhood dreams... that was and is My 1961 Triumph TR 3 We purchased my dream car in 1965... Back then a 4 year old Sports car was almost like a new car. I drove my Triumph for many a year... Anyone who has ever owned a British sports car, certainly knows the fun & excitement they offer. As time passed, and the need for a larger car, and things like Air conditioning, and power steering came available, we decided to store the car in my Dad's garage... he had the space... and the lust to drive it too. (smile) After years, of owning great cars, Jaguar's, Corvettes, MGTF's, 39 Plymouths, and a host of in between cars like Cadillac's , and Lincoln's... NONE of them tugged at my heart strings like my little TR 3... Now I'm looking for a new home for her... Only good car owners need apply. Here's how she looked after she was out of the Garage and had a refreshing bath. YEAH! Out of the Garage after some 25 years +++ Storage... I could hear her saying that! (smile) How about we go for a ride, they say Photos speak louder & better then words... So lets step on that gas petal and enjoy the ride... PLEASE READ ALL THE BELOW Items included WITH car 1) RARE Fiberglass hard top in Great Condition 2) Black Convertible Top in Great Condition 3) Tonneau cover in Good Condition 4) Removable side windows panels 5) Top Boot 6) Original tire kit 7) Spare tire My TR 3 is an original car... so there are some points I want to make. 1) The body is straight with very little rust. 2) Brake & Clutch cylinders leak 3) The car starts... but has been sitting for 25 years, so it needs all fluids serviced & new battery. 4) Chrome is in good shape for it's age 5) It's my belief, with a tune up & service, clutch & brake cylinders repaired, a new battery, it would be a great running car again. INSPECTIONS: We are located 12 miles south of Cleveland Ohio, we are happy to have serious buyers come out and inspect the car. If you bid, bid to own as this is a legally binding contract; so have your finances in order first. PAYMENTS: We request a $500.00 down payment at auction end (with in 48 HOURS of auction close, with the balance paid in full with in 7 days of auction close. Balance must be paid in cash, or Bank wire to our bank account. Sorry NO checks will be accepted. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. CAR IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS.
