Here is a 97 honda passport that I bought with a bad motor, I replaced the motor with one out of a wrecked isuzu rodeo (same motor). It runs good, I drove it 3 hours from northeast pa with no problems at all. The body and interior are in good shape with some minor surface rust on front of hood, and some faded clearcoat (see pics). The transmission shifts smooth and the 4wheel drive works. Now the BAD-- There is an area of rust holes in the frame (see pics), I did not know this when I purchased the vehicle, I believe it can be repaired by a good welder. It is only in the one area, I do not know why, I have looked and that is the only bad spot that I can see. The air conditioning is not working either, it may be a wire or something though as the pump does not kick on. The tires hold air but are bald, power steering leaks but I have used pump that is included also. I am not sure what else it would need to pass inspection. You are more than welcome to come look at it before bidding. This is a no reserve auction, you are buying as is, and I have explained this vehicle to the best of my ability, if you have any questions just ask, if you want more specific pics just ask. I know parts are expensive for these ( price a used engine), and I am losing big money on this. So do what you want with it part it out or fix it, just get it out of here. $200.00 deposit due via paypal within 24 hours of auction end and the rest cash on pickup.
