Vehicle Detail
Before you is the sharpest Trailblazer most people tell me they have ever seen. I have to agree. Besides being the cleanest, lowest-milage 2007 TBSS out there, some tasteful visual and audio enhancements have been made. HOWEVER, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO INVALIDATE ANY OF THE REMAINING FACTORY WARRANTY. Never eaten or smoked in. For starters, the dual rallye stripe, in metallic charcoal, was applied to the truck. Instead of cutting them off at the hood, like most do, these are wrapped from furthest point to furthest pont. I really like the stripe, but if it's not your thing, a hairdryer and an hour or so of labor and they'll be gone. Next, ALL the emblems were color coded to match the stripe. And a custom silver/charcoal SS overlay was made for the front bowtie. Then the wheels were powder coated to match the stripes and the emblems. I even had the bowties on the wheels done in the contrasting body color of the truck. The powder coaters did an awsome job on the wheels. They look as good at the inner wheel as they do the outter. The front tires are brand new, and the back tires only spent 16,000 miles on the front - so they have over 50% of their tread life left. As the wheels were being done I also had the door sills done in the same color. Before, they were brushed aluminium and scratched very, very easy - look at any other TBSS out there - but now it really carries the whole monochromatic theme inside and they're very resistant to scratching. The largest modification was done to the suspension to give it its' aggressive stance. This TBSS sits 2" lower than stock one. DJM A-arms and custom, adjustable struts were applied to the front while custom shocks and springs were added to the rear. 99.9% of the stock ride was retained. If you see any other lowered TBSS's out there that are under your consideration, make sure they weren't dropped simply by deflating airbags - you'll bounce down the road like a pogo stick in one. And last but not least, the stereo... This is a Pioneer unit that will hook directly up to your I-Pod and also has a detachable face for secuity. There is a 600W Pioneer amp that runs all of the highs and mid-ranges which are discretely tucked into the factory speaker locations, and a 760W Pioneer amp that runs the 3 - count 'em 3- 12" subwoofers. I'm fairly certain that this system is capable of blowing the back window right outta there. No kiddin'! UPDATE: I've been driving the truck for the last week and I've put maybe another 100 miles on it.
