I am reluctantly selling because our girls have grown too large for the back seat and we’ve recently added a larger sized dog to our family. We bought the car primarily for use as an economical, safe, quiet and sporting family vacation/extended trips vehicle, since anywhere we go from Twin Falls is a minimum 300 miles roundtrip. And because both my wife and I have company vehicles that we can use for personal use as well, we’ve only driven this BMW approximately 70.000 easy interstate miles in the last 7 years of ownership. I never rally or tracked this car, nor does it see much rain living here in the high desert climate of southern Idaho. It's been in snowa number of times, but gravel is the preferred road application on our highways, not salt. The car is smoke-free, always garaged, regularly and preventatively serviced (a real service plan, more akin to an E34 schedule), Zymol treated (both inside and out) at least 2x, annually, and washed regularly by hand. I am a current BMWCCA member (since 1989) and this is the 5th BMW I've owned. I’m an enthusiast who drove this car carefully and I have maintained the car with long-term ownership in mind. There are no warning or service lights currently on, all the correct fluids have been used, blows no smoke on startup or otherwise, and still feels as tight as the first time I drove it. It shows well and goes down the road effortlessly. Mileage (mpg’s) is exceptional for a car this size and weight. This is a fantastic road car that will make a great vehicle for a couple or small family. I have already purchased a new vehicle, so I need to find a new home for this BMW soon. I know I’m going to regret selling this car, as I’m still regretting the sale of my E34 525i. The car will be advertised locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
