This car was purchased as part of a fleet at a town / State auction in Rhode Island. Offerings included State, Police, DEM, EPA, Dept. of Housing, Homeland Security, Fish & Game and impounds. Recent Homeland & Port Security funding has prompted a lot of fleet / vehicle upgrades here in New England. My guess is this was a former Inspector's car from a State or Government agency (DEM/EPA/Homeland Security)? Not a patrol car. Too nice for that… Maybe was take-home car. Official use vehicle where a sharp car was in order? Inspections, tours? . Clearly well kept with upgrade trim & options, etc... 205,xxx miles. Runs very well. Looks to be Fleet maintained. Full dual exhaust. Aluminum mag wheels with police-style radials. Clean interior...vinyl/leather. Marginal wear on driver's seat only. Car is 15+ years old and has been used. Not new. There are the usual imperfections one finds in a vehicle of this expected use and vintage. Looks wicked nice… Paint is shiny as seen in photos however does have various imperfections, blemishes, scratches, etc… Nothing to be embarrassed by… Mechanically all in order. Brakes gone through to ensure safe operation / drivability. Passenger air bag sensor not good although bag is intact and should deploy as designed. Intermittent engine light (off & on). All codes check out. Functionality = 100%. Very reliable and comfortable riding cruiser. Seems very well taken care of. Reality check : Please do not expectations and imagination exceed reality. Car is offered for auction with NO Reserve. The seller assumes no warrantees, guarantees or responsibility for assumptions, presumptions, errors in fact, etc… My opinion may differ from yours.
