A unique, one-of-a-kind and very rare vehicle... Only 4645 produced for 1996 with 20-30% in automatic configuration…less than 1300 cars made. Few survive… With the options & color combo of this vehicle...maybe ONE. The X90 concept was way before its time. It's a utility vehicle, sport-ute and sports-car all rolled into one. Japanese practicality and durability make it a fantastic user-friendly vehicle at home in the city, the country or at the beach. It is not easy to categorize this car except for one word: FUN! Let me give you some particulars / statistics to start: · 1.6 litre, inline, 16 valve, 4-cylinder engine · 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission w/ overdrive · 4 wheel drive with automatic hubs (on demand) · Removable T-tops Here's where it gets really good...Options: · Leather seats · Power windows · Power Locks · $900.00 After-market CD/mp3 player (removable face) · 15 inch Aluminum wheels · Midnight Black metallic paint · Security system (factory) · Standard safety equipment includes: · Driver & passenger airbags · ABS / anti-lock brakes · Side impact beams This vehicle came from California and lived near Zuma Beach on the Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles. Brought to the East Coast in 2006 to serve as a beach house vehicle in The Hamptons... Cockpit and interior is clean. Minor leather wear on driver seat from getting in & out. Paint is nice as shown however the car has seen duty at the beach most of its life so paint isn’t perfect. Car is 15+ years old and there are some imperfections, chips, scratches, dings, spider-webs, etc… Vehicle was rust-proofed underneath and is in very good condition as the photos show. Runs well and has no known mechanical problems. Everything is operational and 4-wheel drive is a blast at the beach on the dunes. Mechanically it is the same as Sidekick and replaced the Samurai. Parts are available and affordable. Easy to work on and reliable as a Timex... Brand new Yokohama tires, battery and oil change… This car gets more looks than a Ferrari or Corvette. It is a neat little roadster with the t-tops removed and the wind in your hair. There is nowhere that you can’t go in this car. City, golf course, Cape Cod, beach, anywhere… Gets around 25 mpg and is reliable even after sitting for a while during winter storage. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this car to Alaska! Here’s the reality check: Please don’t let expectations exceed reality. This is a 15 year old, special-interest vehicle that was used as intended. You rarely see these cars as they were rust-prone and few remain. It was produced in limited numbers and survived because it was well taken care of in a dry climate. It was also fully rust-proofed underneath. There may be sundry chips, blemishes, rust spots, dings, chips, scratches, marks, etc… that one would expect to find on this type vehicle. If you want a new one, call Suzuki…although they’re not making them anymore. If you’re looking for a virgin, go to church. If you want a versatile, seldom seen, unique vehicle that was produced along the lines of a auto show concept car…that goes anywhere with ease… Give it a bid! I believe the report mis-interpret registration renewals with owners. Look at the actual report and note how little mileage accumulates between "owners". The car may have been re-registered a number of times but I don't believe to various/different owners. California DMV has a way of screwing things up...
