For sale is a 1979 Ford Thunderbird. This is my Grandmother's car. She purchased the vehicle in 1980 with 600 miles on it from Perkin's Motor's in Louisville, Ky. The vehicle belonged to a soldier stationed at Fort Knox who wanted a more fuel efficient car. The vehicle has just over 88,000 true miles. The car runs great! The dash board, rear seat, and carpet are in excellent condition. Everything is original with no Bondo. The body needs some touch up. There are a few rust spots,however , the body is very solid. Needs a paint job. There is a small dent over the driver side rear wheel well. The Landau top needs to be restored. The wheels are in great condition. The tires are in excellent condition. The battery is brand new. The air does not blow cold. Needs to be changed over to R-134. Driver's seat has separation on the seams. The headliner is solid overall with two seams showing some separation, but no tears. Bumpers have no damage but are dull. This car has never been wrecked. The car is very dependable.
