One of the rarest Hurst cars in existence! Production for 1970 was only 485 cars. All numbers matching... 440 TNT 375 HP Engine w/ console shifted 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission... 8.75 in. rear w/ 3:23:1 rear. All Hurst edition cars were white with gold trim with Saddle/tan interior. Console cars were 15-20% of total production...numbering less than 50 units ever made in this configuration. It gets even better...This car has an unbelievable amount of options. Some gurus say this may be the most highly optioned Hurst in the world. Look at the list: Console / Floor shift Tilt & telescoping wheel (with rim blow horn that works) Cruise control Multi-plex AM/FM 8-track Auto Temp Heat & Air conditioning Power locks Power windows Dual power seats Power antenna Dual mirrors Clock Cornering lights Front & Rear bumper guards 3-speed wipers Fender top, turn signal indicators Theres more! Engine was rebuilt to stock specs in 1999 with NO overbore. Transmission redone as well (99)... New HD rear leafs replaced (99)... Full stainless 2 1/2 inch exhaust with correct exhaust tips (07)... Original / correct wheels with excellent Goodyear Eagle LS 235-70-R15 tires... (including spare which never touched the ground...) The body is very solid and straight as seen in the photos. The floors, undercarriage and trunk were treated with POR-15 in order to preserve them in '99. They are in very good condition albeit not perfect (see photos). Some soft spots in trunk pan. Rear window is the 1 area that requires some attention. Was under a dripping garage roof and suffered unknowingly for a while. Previous owner caulked around it to protect / preserve. Car comes with a complete & fantastic channel and Dutch panel from a rust-free donor car. Dash has ZERO cracks and all glass is very good. Seat frames are solid as are all mechanicals / tracks, etc... All interior trim/brightwork intact. All sheetmetal is original with fantastic grille and operational hideaway headlights. Rear lights & trim also very good... One more important detail that cannot be missed! The vehicle comes with nearly (4) full-sized pickup truck bedfulls of spare parts including...hood, trunk lid, doors, fenders, etc... EVERYTHING you could every need to restore this vehicle to its former & rightful glory. Thousands upon thousands of dollars spent to assemble this collection. (Clearly the parts that come with the car require shipping at the buyer's cost.) The car runs extraordinarily well and shifts excellently. Brakes are updated. Runs and drives as it should. I wouldn't get in and drive it to California, but I would have no fears driving it locally upon arrival. Here's the reality check: Please don't let expectations exceed reality! This is a 40+ year old car that requires restoration. You will not find a better example of this model requiring resto... I sincerely doubt it. It is a very rare and unique car that you could not duplicate as far as options and condition are concerned. This car comes out of the collection of one of the foremost experts and restoration sources of B-body Mopars in New England. His specialty is Super Bees and rare E-body models. The car has been in his storage facility awaiting restoration. He recently added a 70 Super Bee that has been in a storage container since Jimmy Carter was president to his project list. Space is precious and this Hurst needs to go to a new home. It is probably rarer than a hemicuda or a Hemi Challenger as far as production numbers are concerned. Please let the photos be the greatest part of the description. You can't lose on this car. Values on Hurst cars are skyrocketing! Mopars are in the stratosphere and heading higher.
