I’m a semi retired 62 year old, and I’ve owned this vehicle for 10 years, it was originally from Naples, FL. I’m selling it because I have just purchased another convertible and don’t have the garage space to keep both, otherwise I would. The car’s Pearl White paint is in beautiful condition, I had the clear coat redone 3 or 4 years ago. There’s some slight clear coat bubbles on the front driver’s side fender, nothing major. It has a brand new OEM German convertible top and leather seat covers put on roughly 1,500 miles ago. The car has a lot of 560 SL OEM upgrades done to it. The 15“ aluminum wheels are from a 560 SL, and in excellent condition. The tires were replaced last season and have 90% left on them. Other work I’ve had done to the vehicle include; new radiator, valve cover gaskets, rear shocks, all four wheel bearings, upper ball joints, and numerous other services. I have all the records too. I also had 560 SL woodgrain accents installed last year (paid $275). I will include all brand new OEM rubber door, top, and trunk seals with the car, brand new still in box (paid $900). I’ve also replaced the radio with a SONY CD player and speaker box in the back, behind the seats. The vehicle doesn’t burn ANY oil and runs 100%. The car just passed NH safety inspection a month or two ago. The engine runs strong, no problems at all. The transmission shifts smoothly without any hesitation. The undercarriage is SOLID, floors and unibody are fine. The vehicle has been garaged six months out of the year, and is barely driven when it’s actually on the road. I never drove it in rain or snow, just sunny warm weather. The car isn’t a “show” car by any means, but it runs like champ, and I know you’ll enjoy it, just like I did. Here’s what the car needs. The odometer just broke at the beginning of this year at 132,991 miles. I’ve driven it roughly 20 miles or so since then, if that. The exhaust “Y” pipe is starting to leak, and the air conditioning is hot. None of these problems are major, by any means. I got quoted around $400 for the odometer head and “Y” pipe.
