Vehicle Detail
Hello Bidders! Thanks for taking a look at my baby! I've owned this tuck for quite a few years now and it has been by far the best auto I've ever owned. I feel its time for me to upgrade and decided due to my success with this one, I'm getting a new Avalanche. I'm a Corporate pilot, and have traveled from North Central PA to Dulles airport (D.C. area) for the past 10 years, and this has been my ride. What I'm saying is the miles are all highway miles. She has a majority of the factory options: Z-71 package Auto tilt, cruise, air, windows, locks On-Star On the go 4x4 Factory running boards Factory mud flaps (the front ones are cracked) trailer hitch (electric brake controller) AM/FM/CD Aluminum wheels After market items: Mobile phone blue-tooth kit Tekonsha Electric brake controller Transmission cooler Rear back-up camera Items that need repaired: The check engine light comes on sometimes, and then goes off. I had it checked, the code was for engine misfire. The Chevy dealer said it could come from plugs, plug wires, or a vacuum leak. Their advice was not to do anything about it. They said the way to fix it is to trouble shoot one item at a time until the light doesn't come on anymore. They said it wasn't worth it. I hit a ring-neck pheasant, and broke the plastic lens on the right front daytime driving light/ fog light. The driver seat as normal wear and tear, however one of the seams has pulled apart. I have noticed a small engine oil drip on the garage floor. On the rear bumper, I lost (or had stolen) the plastic pad that looks like diamond plate located in the center of the bumper, also on the left step. On the rear tailgate, the plastic edge has a hole the size of a quarter. Items that have been replaced: Rear end at 115K Front wheel bearings (both) at 118K Transmission at 157K I'm trying to be as fair and upfront on everything good, and bad with my truck. I don't want you to have any surprises. I am continueing to drive her to work with confidence and am confident that she will continue to provide me or someone else safe and reliable transportation. The paint and interior are in very nice condition, (other than the front seat and the exterior items that I previously listed) The tires have about 40-50% tread The brakes were replaced in March. Note: It shows an odometer problem. That is not the true case. When I purchased the truck, The lady at the tag service accidentally missed a number and sent the info via the internet to Penn Dot for vehicle registration. The mistake was found after she submitted the info. It was corrected immediately the same day (with-in 5 minutes) however it still shows up as an odometer issue. Feel free to ask me any questions. She is available for viewing by appointment. I do have the truck for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early from a alternate buyer. The asking price is $9500.00. The reserve price is below this. If you are the winning bidder, please furnish $500 with-in 24 hours and full payment with-in 7 days. Happy bidding! Chris
