Up for bid at NO RESERVE is my 1983 Datsun 280ZX TURBO COUPE. This is the last year of the 280ZX series that was first introduced in 1979. A two owner Colorado car, I initially purchased the Datsun to restore. The minimal necessitated body work has already been completed and it is ready for paint. I then considered swapping the drive train (easily done) into an earlier 240Z that I own. Priorities have now changed. The engine runs strong with 148-155 compression in all 6 cylinders. There are no annoying drips or leaks. 180 HP stock w/no modifications. The 5 speed transmission shifts fine in all forward gears & reverse. The clutch is good. The car is straight, it has never been in a collision. The interior will necessitate some TLC. The car needs a new ignition switch and the windshield has a crack. The T-tops are in great shape. The AC has not been retrofitted and is semi-cool. The 4 factory Datsun Turbo alloy wheels & center caps are in very good condition with no curb rash. It is an ideal candidate for an easy restoration, one you can drive & restore as you go. I am realistic in what I believe the car is worth & will bring. ($1500 range) An initial deposit of $250 is due & payable within 24 hours of auction close via PayPal. The balance is then due & payable within 7 days thereafter. Pickup and/or delivery is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Trailered delivery is possible in the lower 48 states for $1000.00 If you wish to "buy it now", call me to discuss it.
