You are looking at a 1998 Subaru Forester that I am selling with a no reserve auction starting at $499. The car is located in Mechanicsville, VA. The car needs work and is not driveable at the moment. The U-Joint that connects the Transmission to the drive shaft broke free and needs to be repaired. I think it knocked the shifter linkage out of whack too. I am not sure the extent of the damage. The car has high mileage, but is in otherwise decent shape and has been very reliable until this u-joint went the other day. It has a few ddents and digs here and there. Everything works and she will start right up for you. I was planning on buying a truck soon, so I have decided to just offer the car as is instead of getting under it to fix it.
