Vehicle Detail
SERIOUS BIDDERS PLEASE AND NO TRADES Up for auction, a beautiful super clean 1968 Dodge Charger R/T clone. This car is complete with a 383 motor, 727 transmission, and a 2.76 rear end. As far as I know its a matching numbers car, I bought it that way from a dealer. I havent checked though, for me that doesnt matter. Per the fender tag it came standard with Bucket seats, console, tic toc clock, factory air conditioning, and now has a Edlebrock 4BBL carb, after market cassette, rear speakers, and RT stripe. SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS BY CLICKING HERE - http://www.vanwoertentertainment.com/charger.htm CAR: Dodge Charger 2 Door Sports Hardtop ENGINE: 383cid 2-bbl V8 TRANSMISSION: 3-Speed Automatic TIRES: 7.75x14 White Sidewall (Replaced) MODEL YEAR: 1968 BUILD DATE: March 04. AXLE: 2.76 Rear Axle Ratio INTERIOR: Charger Trim Grade Black Interior. PAINT: Monotone Medium Tan Metallic Paint. (Now dark blue) OTHER: MOLDINGS: 25: Drip Rail Mouldings 30: Body Belt Mouldings (gone) 78: Wheel Lip Mouldings ABC OPTIONS: A1: 26in Radiator H1: Power Brakes R1: AM Radio (Now aftermarket) S1: Air Conditioning X1: Tinted Glass (all) Y6: Black Vinyl Top (Now painted) abc OPTIONS: a6: Console b4: Bucket Seats h7: Fender or Hood Mounted Turn Signal Indicators m6: Driver's Outside Remote Operated Mirror (Needs replaced) This car is 99.9% rust free, and does have slight paint wear and one or two shopping cart dings. Everything works but the radio, controls for the air conditioning, and a few months after I bought it, the vacuum headlight covers stopped working. Other than that the car runs and drives excellent AND FAST!!! I put brand new re-issued Vector Rims and new tires on it. It has been garage kept the last 4 1/2 years, but taken out and driven every month. Bidders, please understand this car has older paint job but it is not really a 20 footer, more like a 10 footer. Please do your research with collector car sources, NADA, etc. before bidding. Then add the fact its a R/T clone and has new rubber and rims. Basicly the point Im trying to get across - this by no means is a top show car, BUT I have taken it to car shows and gotten MUCH praise on how beautiful a car it is. Understand this car does NOT need a full restoration, in fact if I wasnt going through a divorce - I first would not be getting rid of it, and two I would not have touched the paint job for at least another five years or so. I wouldnt be afraid to jump in this car and drive it to California. In other words all you will need to do with this car is put gas in it, (and if you plan on driving it at night, which I dont... Im afraid someone will hit me, you will need to fix the vaccum headlight covers) and perform regular maintainence. CAR IS SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. TITLE IS IN MY NAME AND PROPERLY REGISTERED. TRANSPORTATION AND PICK UP IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. NO SALES OUTSIDE THE USA. AUCTION IS 7 DAYS, PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS, MY CELL IS (912) 492-1312 OR E-MAIL ME. BUT DO NOT E-MAIL AND ASK THE RESERVE, IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY INTERESTED, CALL ME. IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK, CALL -- DO NOT BID. A $750 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS DUE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUTION END. WITH NO EXCEPTIONS I REQUIRE A PHONE CALL WITHIN 24 HOURS OF CLOSE OF AUCTION FOR PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS. THE BALANCE IN 7 DAYS POST AUCTION. IF YOU CAN'T DO THIS OR DON'T WANT TO, DON'T BID.
