Automatic We at Midnite Motor Classics in Margate, Florida are proud to present AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN this very nice 1998 Mercedes-Benz E300 Turbo Diesel Here's an opportunity to own a world-class luxury sedan at a price that won't break the bank. This 1998 E300 Sedan is in very good condition inside and out - and it runs GREAT. It is loaded with creature comforts and drives like a Mercedes is supposed - smooth and solid. The 3.0 liter diesel motor provides both ample power and very good fuel economy (we're getting about 35mpg highway) This car has been in Florida since at least June of 2000, so it had any significant exposure to the road salt and rough conditions of northern roads. NADA suggested clean retail price for this car is OVER $13000. Our reserve price is set FAR below that. The exterior is in very, very good condition - actually remarkable for a 1998 vehicle. There are no notable dents or dings, and the paint shines all around. Its a beige metallic, almost pewter color that Mercedes-Benz calls "Smoke Silver" Autocheck shows an accident way back in 05/1999. Whatever it was must have been very minor. We see no signs of damage repair, and the car rides and drives perfectly/ Exterior features include alloy wheels and fog lamps. The interior is also in very, very good condition. There are no rips, holes, or tears in the leather seats. The carpets, dash and door panels are also in excellent condition. Both front seats have power controls with memory. Rear seat passengers ride in comfort with plenty of space and their own A/C vents. This Mercedes has some nice convenience features: power windows, locks and mirrors; auto dual-zone air conditioning; Power tilt wheel; BOSE AM/FM/Cassette Stereo; Cruise control and more. Please see the "features" chart near the top of the description. Safety features include dual air bags, front side air bags, traction control and ABS. Please note that the power glass sunroof does not work. There is a CD Changer in the trunk. This E300 has a HomeLink programmable gate/garage opener built into the driver's visor. There's no sign that this car was ever smoked in - no smoke odor, no burn marks, and the lighter looks like it was never used. The trunk is clean and roomy. The 3.0 liter turbo diesel I6 runs very well. It's rated at 174 hp and 244 lb-ft of torque from the factory. Fuel mileage is window-sticker rated at 26/34 mpg. You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for full purchase price. If you are the winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up (sorry, we do not accept credit cards or Paypal at this time) . If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay applicable sales tax and registration fees.
