Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 2005 Toyota Corolla XRS I bought this car used a few years ago with about 100,000km on it, I've never had any problems with it. It's always ran great. It's a great sporty car used in mostly city driving, and seldom driven in harsh canadian winters (even though I had a set of snow tires installed) I work at a Toyota dealership as a detailer, so the car is always kept in pristine condition; washed and waxed almost weekly. I've also applied a paint and fabric protection to the entire car.- 170hp and 127 ft-lb of torque - 6 speed manual transmission - stiffer suspension - car is lower by 1cm than the regular corolla and corolla sport (from the factory)- TRD sway bars in the front and an X-Brace, which increases structural rigidity, in the rear (behind the passenger seats) creates very flat cornering- sport seats, with side bolsters designed to prevent driver and passenger movement- 6 speaker factory radio with CD player - cruise control - power windows with driver auto down feature - power locks with 2 sets of keys with remotes - 5 spoke 16" alloy rims with bridgestone tires, about 20k on them, still look new - professional window tint installed on the whole car, front is slightly lighter than rear (same quality as placed on lexus and audi's, done at a lexus dealership) - I get oil changes done religiously every 3 months since purchased The car is in good condition, but there are a few minor flaws; - all corollas of this generation had a problem with the center console, the bottom compartment lid wouldn't stay closed, and it flaps open from time to time, it can be fixed by being replaced, but it costs about $400 and I didn't think it was really very necessary - on the front bumper, the clear-coat is beginning to peel off, but because it's a silver car, it isn't too noticeable - there was two holes in the rear bumper (for what reason I have no idea) but it's been patched up, and just needs clear-coat (once again, silver car, isn't too noticeable) I've done a few things to the car, apart from general maintenance; - Just replaced rear brakes and rotors about 2,000km ago - Replaced serpentine belt within last 3,000km - Air filter, and cabin air filter replaced a month ago - Had a maximus sport muffler installed back in April with a chrome exhaust tip, creating a subtle sport sound when at high revs. I also have the stock muffler if you wish to swap it back I had a carfax report when I purchased the car, and it was involved in a front end collision, but it was very minor, and the claim was for $1,189 and i believe it was just the front bumper My reason for selling this car is because I'm 19, and I'll be going back to school next fall, and I need to save money. Thanks for looking!
