Here for auction is 1979 Z28 that came from the factory with a 350 4bbl motor, 4 speed manual trans and 3:73 posi rear end. The car comes with the original build sheet from above the gas tank that shows all the options. This girl is no clone she is the real deal unlike 80% of the Z28's out there. The car runs and drives very well but is in need of a complete restoration. The motor runs sweet it starts right up and doesnt leak or knock. The trans shifts smoothly and it stops and drives quite well. The car needs Body and paint for sure the car has its fair share of dings and dents but rust wise its amazingly solid. The only rust is a little bubbling at the bottom of the passenger side fender but other then that she is rust free. The interior is descent but will need some reconditioning. All in All this is a very desirable and very restorable Z28. This car has been off the road for a numbers of years so I wouldnt suggest driving it home until a complete service has been done mainly belts and hoses and thermostat. Like I said the car is almost rust free the Floors and trunk show no signs of rust just the bottom of the passenger fender has a few bubbles.
