Vehicle Detail
I am selling this car for my nephew. He purchased the originally 6 cy. car from the preverbial "little old lady" in the Dallas Fort Worth area in 1999. He brought it home (Sanger Texas) area and installed a 383 "stroker motor" along with a lot of other bells and whistles and went drag racing......NOT FAST ENOUGH......went to a big block with a "fogger kit". The car started lifting the front end too high, he didn't want to cut up this car with roll cage, wheelie bars, etc. so a tube chasis car was purchased. He brought me the retired race car without engine. I live in WV and have space to store the car and also had a 327 cu. in. engine on a stand and nothing to install it in. He had all new interior done on the car, base coat/clear coat "marina blue" paint prior to hauling it from Texas to WV (on a family vacation). It is currently located at my residence in Buckhannon WV. The 327 that I installed is 30 over with flat tops, 7 quart oil pan, GM hydraulic 350 horse power cam shaft and a lot of other modification and performance features, I won't bore you with a lot of details. If you have questions/concerns, please ask. This "Sleeper" has a 350 Street Figher TCI transmission a B&M pro-ratchet shifter, hole shot converter, Competition Engineering traction bars, Auto Meter Pro-comp oil filled gauges, etc. The interior is NEW; the marina blue paint is not perfect, but very presentable, Fats and Skinnies w/Cragar Star wheels. There is a 21 gallon fuel cell mounted in trunk (see pics). The battery has also been moved to the trunk. The exhaust is Jet coated, Hooker Super Comp 1 3/4" headers with Flow Master muflers and 2 1/2 inch pipes. Street Dominator intake, Holly Contendor Street/Strip, 600 CFM "double pumper" with mechanical secondaries, manual choke. This car still has the Richmond 4:10 gears in the 10 bolt differential, so it is NOT an interstate car. However, it is a blast from stop light to stop light. It is not pristine, but it sure doesn't hurt your eyes. No dents/dings; there is a small blemish on the left rear over the top of the tail light and also a blemish on the bottom of the left front fender, the result of a wheel stand landing, but it is not noticeable unless pointed out. This car has NEVER seen salt or snow or even rain for the last 10 years. If you are seriously looking for a piece of "Muscle Car" history and a "Shoe Box" Chevy II look close at this one! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, I don't bite. Please SERIOUS/BUYERS only. This vehicle is beings sold "as is" (no warranty implied); I have clear Texas title in hand. A 150 HP nitrous kit, Mallory dual point distributor and many other miscellaneous parts that will go to the successful bidder.
