This is my 1982 R65LS, with 20380 original miles. This bike runs very well, has a new battery, everything works, but has some cosmetic issues. A previous owner was not happy with the condition of the tank paint and tried to respray it himself, not a nice finish. So I keep a tank bra on it and it is not noticable, but if I were keeping the bike I would have it resprayed, the inside of the tank is perfect, NO RUST. I photographed it three ways, no tank bra, tank bra, and tank bra with the matching luggage. The BMW luggage comes with the bike. The side covers are not broken but do need the little rubber mounting washers. (little rubber washers) The tires do have alittle cracking from sitting in indoor storage. Overall a nice riding bike but has some cosmetic issues that could be addressed or just ride as is. I have an open NYS title in my name, waiting for the new owner. I have three other bikes and just don't use this bike, so she should go. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy, I will submit negative feedback. Please don't waste my time or the time of others. I will need a $500 deposit within 24 hours after the end of the auction.
