Gorgeous, super low mileage, Turbocharged Honda S2000, 320RWHP KBB Private Party Value on this car is over $12K: Condition ValueExcellent$12,140Good$11,565Fair$10,565Plus, I've got over $15K in tasteful modifications on the car...list of upgrades below. It pains me to do it, but I must finally part ways with my 'baby'...a 2000 Honda S2000 which has been tastefully modified with only the best parts. As you probably know if you're reading this, Honda is no longer making this pure sports car. These are surely going to become collectors items as these cars represent decades of racing heritage and is only 1 of 2 rear drive Hondas to hit the market (Acura NSX is the other). The condition is excellent inside and out. Interior looks pretty much brand new...only noticeable wear is to the driver's seat thigh bolster, but even then only slightly worn, but absolutely no tears, cuts, or rips. The exterior does have one imperfection, where an idiot backed into my front bumper with his tailgate down (see pics for pics of scratched bumper). This can be repaired relatively inexpensively, but I went ahead and bought another bumper which I have yet to repaint which I'll throw in with purchase price (it's NFR). Car is 100% garaged, both at home and at work (rarely driven to work). Speaking of miles, it has just over 44K original miles on the odo...think about that, that's only 4,400 miles a year on this car! As expected, this car is not my daily driver, only taken out on weekends and special occasions, otherwise garaged. Oil changed at least every 3K miles w/ Mobil 1, and all other fluids replaced w/in the last 5K miles using only the best (LE607 in diff, GM syncromesh in tranny, OEM Honda coolant). As previously mentioned, the car has well over $15K in mods alone including: ENGINE/TRANSMISSION: - Highly modified Spugen Turbo Kit: dyno'd at Inline Pro in Springfield VA and produced: 320 rwhp, 209 lbs/tq at 10 psi with stock exhaust! Kit has approximately 5K mi on it - Tubular manifold was hand-built for me (by Speed Force Racing in CA) using extra thick tubular steel. - AEM EMS 1052 (standalone engine management system) ... costs over $1,000 alone. I'll also include the original ECU in the sale. - Seimens 575cc injectors (again, I'll include the original injectors and clips w/ sale) - 3¨ downpipe and turbine housing Jet-Hot coated to reduce under hood temps. - Polished aluminum intercooler piping - Spearco front mount intercooler - HKS Oil filter relocation kit - Manual boost controller - Upgraded 4 ply silicone couplers - Synchronic Blow Off Valve - Tial 38mm wastegate - AEM Dryflow oil-less air filter - Authentic Spoon Sports oil cap and reservoir covers - Authentic Spoon Sports oil cap - Custom Black valve cover w/ Blue coil cover to match engine color scheme (blue anodized components). - Carbon fiber radiator (air diversion) panel; this was a prototype made by PJDM - Brand new OEM clutch master and slave cylinders (system probably needs to be re-bled...I can sometimes feel a little air pocket) - Brand new OEM starter - Brand new Timing Chain Tensioner (TCT) - Brand new MAP sensor ELECTRONICS: - Alpine CDA9835 CD player/receiver, with Ipod interface and XM radio receiving unit (not installed) - Modifry Dashboard control interface for Alpine stereo - Modifry Temp Gauge fix (used to restore function of temp gauge w/ AEM EMS) - MB Quart PCE speakers all around (PCE 216s in fronts, PCE 213 in rear) - CompuStar WS9000 Paging Alarm/Security system w/ remote start capability (alarm needs to be serviced at an authorized CompuStar dealer...is barely audible now and many of the functions are not working properly...but car is still secure, I just have to manually lock the car w/ the key) - Upgraded Optima Yellow Top (34/78 series for more capacity) - Clear sidemarkers - Set of ProSport gauges (EGT and Boost) mounted in a Dual Pillar gauge pod, but not installed in vehicle (was previously installed, but I had it wired wrong so it kept draining my battery). I've since removed it, but the sensors are still installed in the exhaust down pipe and vacuum system, so just need to replug in and find a more suitable 12V power source. INTERIOR: - Countersunk Voodoo pearl aluminum shift knob - OEM S2000 carpets - OEM Wind blocker - Major Havoc wind blocker inserts for seat backs WHEELS/TIRES/SUSPENSION: - 18" Work Meister S2R staggered rims, S2000 specific setup (8¨X18¨ fronts, 9¨X18¨ rears) with appropriate offsets (wheels do not rub at all) . I paid $2,500 just for the rims - Espelir lowering springs (little more than a 1¨ drop all around)...stance of the car is perfect, in my opinion - Lots of tread left (~90%) on Sumitomo HTRZIII tires (225 fronts, 265 rears) ...rears only have about 1000 miles on them. - G4 painted calipers w/ S2000 logo clearcoated in. I still have all the paperwork, 2 sets of keys, plus the valet (which is in the car as part of the alarm system). Comes with original tonneau cover, and I'll even throw in the full Service manual (I paid $75 for it). Everything on the car works flawlessly (power windows, mirrors, cruise control, ice cold a/c, etc.) except the noted problems w/ the alarm system, and just passed VA safety inspection in May 2010. Car has OEM spoiler and the upgraded Black Chrome emblems. Reason for sale, wife and I are planning our second child and need to buy an SUV...just doesn't make sense for a family of four to own a 2 seat car (even a sweet 2 seater like this ). If you're local (NoVA/DC/MD area) feel free to email me to set up a time to see the car and take a drive. If you're not local and have a friend in the area, they're more than welcome to check the car out on your behalf. I have clear title in hand. In any case, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are a couple. More pics available upon request. Oh yeah, it also has a clean AutoCheck, which I can provide upon request. AutoCheck score is 91 (with similar vehicle scores between 82-90). Low reserve on the car, as I need it gone so I can buy a minivan!
