AN ORIGINAL FC7 HIGH IMPACT PLUM CRAZY PURPLE CAR. ORIGINAL CARPET,INTERIOR,WHEELS,TRUNK MAT,ORIGINAL EXHAUST SYSTEM(EXCEPT FOR 1 MUFFLER)!. THE MECHANICS WERE NEVER HOT RODDED,THIS CAR WAS LEFT AS RECEIVED FROM THE DEALER. VERY WELL DOCUMENTED AND NUMBERS MATCHING. ORIGINAL FACTORY STRAIGHT SOLID SHEET METAL, THIS IS NOT THE STANDARD BARRACUDA, BUT A REAL HIGH PERFORMANCE 'CUDA "BS23" MODEL. RARE 1 OF 1168 'CUDA'S W/383,AUTOMATIC MADE. IN STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA. PICKED UP FROM THE DEALERSHIP ON APRIL 29,1971 SHE OWNED AND KEPT GREAT CARE OF THIS 'CUDA FOR A VERY LONG TIME. 1971 - 1989. 18 YEARS! THAT'S A LONG TIME FOR A WOMAN TO BE LOYAL TO 1 CAR! BUT WHAT A CAR! IT SPENT IT'S LIFE IN THE NICE HOT DRY VINEYARD COUNTRY OF CALIFORNIA. WITH A VERY NICE BROADCAST SHEET(BUILD SHEET), FENDER TAG,DEALER WARRANTY CARD, THE FACTORY COMPUTER PUNCHED BUILD CARD(RARE),PERFECT ORIGINAL OWNER'S MANUAL,ORIGINAL DEALER DOCUMENTS SHOWING DATE OF PICK UP AND NAME OF THE ORIGINAL LADY OWNER, DEALER WARRANTY CARD, FACTORY EMISSION INFO SHEET, MANY SERVICE RECORDS (UP UNTIL THE LATE 1980'S SHOWING THE ORIGINAL OWNER'S SIGNATURE!). ALL BODY NUMBERS MATCH.FENDER TAG, RADIATOR SUPPORT, COWL, VIN DOOR STICKER AND DASH VIN NUMBER ARE ALL MATCHING. ALL ORIGINAL AS WELL AS MATCHING NUMBER ENGINE,TRANSMISSION, AND ORIGINAL REAR AXLE. ONLY ONE MUFFLER WAS REPLACED ON THE EXHAUST SYSTEM. OTHERWISE THE ENTIRE EXHAUST IS FACTORY ORIGINAL! IT STILL SOUNDS VERY GOOD AND HAS A VERY NICE THROATY EXHAUST RUMBLE. THE CAR HAS ONLY 113,000 EASY MILES ON IT. THIS CAR HAS BEEN DRIVEN LESS THAN 3,000 MILES SINCE LEAVING IT'S ORIGINAL OWNER IN 1989! IT WAS PAINTED IT'S ORIGINAL COLOR 20 YEARS AGO BY THE 2ND OF 3 OWNERS. THE PAINT IS STILL IN VERY NICE CONDITION ENGINE COMPARTMENT: WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE HOLLEY CARB AND CONSUMABLE PARTS SUCH AS SPARK PLUGS/WIRES,BATTERY, FILTERS, RADIATOR CAP,ETC. VITUALLY EVERYTHING ON THIS INCREDIBLE CAR IS AS RECEIVED FROM THE DEALER! ORIGINAL INTAKE/EXHAUST MANIFOLDS, AIR CLEANER, MANIFOLD HEAT RISER,RADIATOR, AIR CONDITIONING, ETC. (THE HOLLEY CARB WAS REPLACED BY THE DEALER WITH A CARTER. THIS WAS A COMMON TSB PROBLEM WITH THAT CARB AND MANY WERE DEALER REPLACED.) INTERIOR COMPARTMENT: ORIGINAL INTERIOR, NICE CARPET, SEAT COVERS(2 SMALL TEARS IN DRIVER'S SEAT), HEADLINER(4" L SHAPED TEAR), CENTER CONSOLE, INTERIOR PANELS ARE NICE. DASHPAD(HAS CRACKS OFF CENTER SPEAKER GRILLE) THE RADIO WAS CHANGED, BUT SHE KEPT THE ORIGINAL AM/FM THUMBWHEEL FACTORY RADIO IN A BOX. EXTERIOR: THE CAR HAS ALL OF IT'S ORIGINAL SHEET METAL, SUPER SOLID AND STRAIGHT.NO BONDO OR BODY WORK. THIS CUDA WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE SPENT IT'S LIFE IN THE NICE HOT DRY CLIMATE OF LODI,CA. IT DID NOT SUFFER THE SEVERE WEATHER SO MANY OTHER CUDA'S HAD TO ENDURE AND IT SHOWS. THE ONLY SPOT OF SURFACE SCALE(DEFINITELY NOT RUST THROUGH) IS IN THE TRUNK ABOUT 2 SQUARE FEET. THE REST OF THE CAR IS AMAZINGLY RUST FREE! IT WAS PAINTED IT'S ORIGINAL COLOR 20 YEARS AGO BY THE 2ND OF 3 OWNERS. THE PAINT IS STILL IN VERY NICE CONDITION.
