1986 Chevy K5 Blazer CUCV M1009. 6.2L Detroit Diesel with Banks Sidewinder Turbo 167000 miles. This vehicle was purchased from the military by local police as a K9 vehicle and painted black. It saw little use then the K9 unit was disbanded. It has usual rust for a vehicle this age and a hole in the passenger rocker panel and inner fender well, most of the body work was done before it was painted. Inside, I repainted the dash and door panels gray also added a GT steering wheel and vinyl seat covers to cover the unmolested blue cloth seats. Rear power window works and gun racks are still there. I also just put in a brand new windshield and the entire inside has been sprayed black bed liner. Under the hood is a Banks Turbo, I just put in a new fuel filter and glow plugs so she starts right up. I eliminated some of the wiring as the convoy lighting didn't work and the 24 volt front plug was oxidized. I also just put a new starter and 2 new interstate batteries. I have a ridiculous amount of extra parts that go with it. I just bought rough country 1" leafs and u bolts to help the sagging front and both fenders and inner fender wells. I really enjoyed this Blazer buy my heart is with my jeep so it has to go. I am sure there are 50 things I am forgetting so just email me with any questions.
