1940 Mercury 2-door sedan for sale. This car has been stored for over 25 years. It has some surface rust, and one dent in the rear fender, but overall is in excellent condition for its age. It has a newer Ford flat 8 engine with distributor in front, but not sure which year. It has not run since I put it in storage. This is a TRUE barn find for the buyer! This car has some interesting history: it was driven by a Roxboro, NC policeman and has a Motorola police radio under the dash. It had a history of chasing moonshiners in Person County and surrounding areas. The inside had been customized with red and white "rolled and pleated" interior. I am thinning my car collection and hate to see this one go, but this is a GREAT opportunity to own a PreWar car. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees.
