Up for sale is my lovely 1990 VW jetta 2.0L GLI 16V Unfortunately I have to sell this car due to a growing family, and the financial responsibility that comes with it. When I purchased this car, I wanted to restore it to its original state, Thus it was never driven much. The 1990 Jetta has a beautiful body line, and it is a looker!!! I will do my best to desribe all the features this car has; PROS Engine new cooling system new radiator new water pump new belts new cooling hoses new expansion tank new Air condensor new expansion valve new A/C hoses A/C is all new (just needs to get filled with gas) new K&N air filter Big Bore Air intake New bosch Platinum Sparkplugs New Cap/ Rotor 133,000 original Miles Engine is very strong about 90% redone NO OIL LEAKS OR ANY OTHER LEAKS Transmission A newer transmission was installed( had about 15K original miles) new clutch new flywheel new clutch cable (self adjusting) new CV joints new ball berrings new shifter bushings new Shocks( bilstein) new european lowering springs New brakes, pads, etc New window motors new window switches Vented disc Brakes INTERIOR Recaro Power seats (alone worth about 1000.00 ) MOMO steering wheel MOMO peddles MOMO E-brake handle MOMO shift Knob MOMO RIMS AND NEW TIRES WORTH 2000.00 AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets remember that this car is a classic. So keeping that in mind I purchased 2-additional jettas, just for parts. What this means for you is , I have many body parts, interior parts, engine parts,that will come with the sale. I also have many new parts that are included as well. The car has no rust, and the interior is in excellent shape considering it is 20 years old. I honestly have over 8000.00 USD in this car, and its up for grabs. My loss is your gain. the reserve is set for 2500.00 because i dont feel its worth any less. Remember just in the Recaro Interior and rims you have 3000.00 the car is road worthy, and since the last listing I have bleed all the brakes and are in good working order. Cons The car Facs claims 2 rear accidents, totaly false. If you claim a 3mph bump on the rear bumper an accident, then ok. but reality is that the car has never been in any accidents. Its just that if the insurance company gets involved, it gets reported as an accident no matter how minor the cause. The car has a craked windshield. ( No worries, I have a new one. Just have had no time to install) Paint- Car is overall in really good shape considering its age.
