I have here my 1970 impala convertible. i bought this car to restore but just bought some comercial property and need the money ,so with much regret ive decided to sell it. its been setting for many years in storage and has a very solid body .its had one repaint several years ago and they had striped the car to bare metal. theres a few places the paint is flacking off and its bare metal underneath.not bondo or rust. most all of the stainless is perfect its almost like they put all new stainless on it when they repainted it.the top is getting aged but has no holes that i see.it goes up and down fine. the glass is all perfect and all windows go up and down ok. the interior smells musty but its in nice original condition for its age. no major tears or rips. the carpet needs replaced probly the musty smell. the dash is complete and in very nice condition the dash pad is perfect. all the door panels are in nice condion just dirty. Back to the body i dont see any place on the body that needs replaced. there is one small place on pass front fender in the lower area that is bubbling. the doors ,hood, trunk are all very solid. its original motor 350 2 barrel with 350 auto trans. i never looked for build sheet so it may be somewhere in car. the car is not curently running it turns over but no spark to the plugs. im having it looked at because it ran fine before it was parked. probly just a coil or something. the wheels are original to car and in perfect condition. the frame looks solid from what i can see and the floors are solid as a rock. the truck has 2 small holes easy fix but the rest is very solid.this car does have air conditioning and im sure it will need attention but there is preasure in the system and its all there. the engine compartment looks all original with all the stickers as well .bumpers are nice and original as well. your not gonna need alot to restore this car. its one of the nicest original 70 impalas ive seen.they never made alot of these and theres not many of them out there. a very cool summer cruiser.i have a clear title .i have the original jack for the trunk as well.just no spare.if you have any questions ask away. and thanks for looking at my car. Nadaguides has this car in the lowest catagory (most usable as is) at 13k buy this car for less than half of that.this car does have power steering and power brakes as well as air.
