*** PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FUNDS IN ORDER AND KNOW WHAT SHIPPING WILL COST BEFORE BIDDING !!!***EMAIL ME AND I CAN GIVE YOU A QUOTE ON SHIPPING FROM MY DOOR TO YOUR DOOR********************** PLEASE READ THE AD FULLY!!!************************ This is for a VERY SOLID,Beautiful, Old Survivor, 1955 Cadillac Series 62 4 door Sedan DeVille.This is all original unmolested,virtually rust FREE, TRUE BARN FIND.This car has led a very pampered and sheltered life.This car has 55656 Original miles and has been kept inside almost all of its life.It is baisicaly a one owner car.The original owner bought it april 06 1955 and it was sold to the second owner in late 2009.I still have the original title.The interior is 100% original and still in GREAT shape.The car has little to NO fading on the interior at all.The original seats are in remarkable shape to be 55 years old.It has that old sweet Cadillac smell.There have never been any mice in the car!!so there are no bad smells.The interior chrome trim looks new.The radio hums but will not play.The steering wheel is perfect and the center cap/horn ring still looks New.The car has power windows,power seat,Autotronic eye and factory working fog lamps.Every light on the car still works.The tail light lens are in great shape with no cracking at all.The front marker/foglight lens are so clear they look non existant,but they are there,just very nice.The power windows are smooth and fast.All Glass is factory Tinted with a easy eye light blue color.All the Glass is excellent.All the original weatherstripping is like New still even the window fuzzies are in great shape.The carpet is original and the front mainly,could use cleaning and posibly redying but is still useable.I would recommend replacing it to be nice.The trunk is in excellent shape with NO rust.Even the original mat,jacking instructions,jack and factory wooden chock are still in place.Even the paperboard linning is still in remarkable condition.Check out the wide white spare.The doors still open and shut like new.the original key still works all the locks perfectly.The body is very straight and is still wearing almost all of its original paint.I have found NO rust thru anywhere on this car.The passnger side has been spot painted a long time ago.The passenger rear door had some bondo in it.I removed the bondo to find a couple of dents that was filled.See photo.There was NO rust thru.I sprayed some etching primer on a few surface rusting spots to keep it from getting any worse.The car could use a repaint,to spiff it up.The chrome is amazing!! The bumpers are still very nice and all the stainless is just about perfect.The rear bumper corners will need attention due to the exhaust.they are rusted thru in a few spots.The center section of the rear bumper is perfect.The front bumper has a small spot on the underside where the chrome has peeled.It is not very noticable.Keep in mind this is a original unrestored 55 year old car.The Motor is original and runs excellent.There are NO noise,no ticks,no smoke at all.Even the carb is still good.The exhaust is still descent and very quiet.I replaced the fuel pump.The emergency brake works good but the rest of the brake system will need going thru completly to be safe.The car will run and drive for loading.It starts easily and It stops easily with the e-brake.I cautiously drove it around the block and the trans shifts fine.The steering is very tight and the car has NO rattles at all.The trans fluid is very clean.The power steering is effortless.All in all this will make a Beautiful car with a quality repaint,some brake work,and A new set of wide whites.The photos on this one speak for themselfs!!!!******See my other items for sale.I can arrange to have it delivered for you,if you like.Email for a Quote!!
