1975 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster BUY THIS BEAUTIFUL ONE OWNER LOW MILEAGE VETTE FOR SOMEONE YOU LOVE. This is simply one of the sweetest looking mid ‘70s Corvettes you will find anywhere. Period. The bright Silver paint sparkles on this roadster – like it was painted yesterday - though it has been several years since it was refreshed. Likewise, the factory installed silver leather interior is in very good condition – no rips, tears, stains, or fading. Under the hood the 350 CID engine runs smooth and emits a throaty growl. Under all driving conditions, the car handles like the day it was delivered from the factory. This is a one owner car, bought new in Nebraska, and driven about 75,000 miles, then mostly stored and sparingly driven the past 20 years. It is a car that has been treated like a favorite member of the family since new. Now it is time for it to go to a new home. The key word is DEPENDABILITY. This is one of the milder versions of the Corvette lineage – a model that is neither a maintenance nightmare nor high performance racecar. The L48 version of the venerable 350 CID engine is still in top condition, basically unmodified except for finned valve covers, air pump removal and flow through mufflers. The engine and automatic transmission are in top condition. No smoke, no leaks, no funny noises. There were only 4629 copies of the 1975 Corvette convertible made by Chevrolet, the last year of convertible production until 1986. So this very drivable, very good looking, ragtop is certain to remain a very collectible car, too. It has factory air conditioning, power windows, power steering and AM/FM/cassette sound system. Everything works, and nearly every facet of this car is above average. Yup, even the headlight doors work as they should. This Corvette is genuine eye candy with only a few tiny flaws you have to look hard to find. It draws attention from everyone. Corvette convertibles that have not been wrecked, driven into the ground, or badly abused are hard to find. Finding one with all the original factory equipment is a more daunting task. Here is a fine sports car that retains all its stock drive train components – one that has not been worn out, and one that has had heaps of TLC over the years. The rubber, glass, tires, brakes, suspension, door panels, kick panels, carpet, dash cap, instruments, and accessories are all in excellent condition. This car was repainted the factory color many years ago, but there is no evidence of it except for a slight amount of inconspicuous overspray on doorjambs. Underneath, the car is sanitary. It has a new white soft top and comes with the matching silver hardtop as well. The original radio, and many new spare parts and parts that were removed or replaced come with this Corvette. This is an automobile that should make anyone proud to own. It has carefully maintained by its only owner for 35 years. For 20 years it has only been driven occasionally in Las Vegas. In fact, the odometer has advanced a mere 1000 miles since 1990. This highly desirable ragtop not only looks great – it is a solid investment, too. The value of these Corvettes has remained firm even though the vintage car market in general has taken a downward turn. Whether you want a car to restore to concours condition, or just a wonderful drop top roadster to put the fun back in driving, this Corvette should satisfy the most particular buyer.
