Well this breaks my hart! But the wife wants to buy a motorhome and travel, so up for bid is our 1962 Nash Metropolitan. We drive this car for coffee every morning and people just LOVE IT! I have seen people pass by a 45000 hot rod to look at this car! It runs down the road easily at 60 MPH no shimmy or shake. Here is what’s been done to it. New paint (has not been buffed out yet) new brakes and wheel cylinders, lines, master cylinder, new clutch master cylinder and slave, rebuilt fuel pump and carburetor, new exhaust, fuel filters, new tires, seats have been recovered, starter switch has been changed to solenoid, new plugs and points, radiator redone with new hoses, gas tank flushed and sealed with new fuel line, new battery and voltage regulator and more that I have surly forgot! It has always been stored in the garage. There are several boxes of parts that go with it that include oil filters and a spare rear window So, what dose the car need? Well not much, the ignition switch had a broken terminal and instead of replacing it, the previous owner put just put some toggle switches under the dash for the ignition and headlights, and a switch for the turn signals (but the switch on the wheel seems to work) no big deal, it works well so I didn’t change them, also the radio is there but dosen't work, haven't checked it, so I don't know why and it needs a knob.
