*** PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FUNDS IN ORDER AND KNOW WHAT SHIPPING WILL COST BEFORE BIDDING !!!***EMAIL ME AND I CAN GIVE YOU A QUOTE ON SHIPPING FROM MY DOOR TO YOUR DOOR********************** PLEASE READ THE AD FULLY!!!************************ This is for a 1956 Ford Fairlane Town Sedan with the T-Bird Interceptor motor.This is a VERY solid local car.It is Very Straight and still wearing most all of its original paint so nothing is hiding.The floors are still shiny green under the carpet.(See photos)This car has been sitting for the last 25 years.It will need the gas tank cleaned or replaced.I ran a line from a remote tank to the fuel pump and cranked the car right up.It runs Great.It has no knocks,ticks and does not smoke at all.Eventhough the original dual exhaust system is shot it is very quiet at idle.The original (Haystack) 4 brl carb is in need of rebuilding,but I have a new Motorcraft rebuild kit for it.The interior is original with covers over the seats.I pulled the back covers off to see the original seat and it looks good still.It's not even faded.The carpet will need replacing but the floors are excellent.The trunk pan is perfect and still shiny green under its original mat.There is no frame rust,even the front crossmember is solid and rust free.The rockers are solid with only a few small peppering holes on the outside edge up high.See Photos.The front fenders have a couple of small rust spots down low,but are easily fixable.There is no rust in the doors,Hood,trunk lid,roof or quarters.Even the spare tire well is rust free and still is showing its original paint.The fender skirts are very nice.Most all the trim is very good.The rear bumper will need replating but is not rusted thru.The car has power steering but the slave cylinder is leaking.The center drag link is worn out,so there is play in the steering.There are NO brakes at all.The tires are very old but hold air fine.The car will roll and steer for loading.All the glass is excellent and is factory Green tinted.Only the drivers vent window is cracked.All the rubber weatherstripping is still in good shape.All in all this is a very solid old survivor car for a great price.See my other items for sale.I can arrange to have it delivered for you,if you like.Email for a Quote!!
