Take a trip back in time with this American classic. This family owned and garage stored American made vehicle runs great and has very low miles (29,400 actual miles). A show stopper of a vehicle was purchased off the showroom floor in Arizona as a retirement gift. This make and model is equipped with a powerful 500 cubic inch "big block" V8 engine (no longer made by GM). This Cadillac runs very smooth and a very quiet ride. The cabin has abundant leg room and the interior is in near perfect condition (non smoker). The exterior paint and interior are original and I personally have not seen the same color or interior pattern in any other Cadillac. All service has been performed by a mechanic. The car is fully equipped with today’s modern amenities including; power windows, power doors, power seats, cruise control, power steering that provide both convenience and luxury. The vehicle does have several upgrades primarily in the stereo department since the first purchase. This includes a Clarion radio/tape deck with a 6 disc Clarion CD changer. The tweeters and mid range speakers are Eclipse and provide great sound. The original deck is available upon purchase at no extra charge. The car has a Viper alarm installed with remote key entry. Over the 35 years of ownership, there are several areas to address with the vehicle. Time has passes ever so quickly and allocating time to fix these items has not been attainable. Please note, the items listed below are not due to availability of the part but due to the time dedicated. The vehicles A/C needs to be refilled and one hose needs to be replaced. The hood springs on the left side are a little stretched, but they work and it sits flush. The rear bumper extensions below the trunk are cracked and should be replaced (typical on this model). The door locks do work but occasionally remain in the lock position on the driver side and should be replaced. The exterior body has no evidence of rust, but does have 3 small spots where touch up from scratches need to be addressed. The chrome is in excellent condition and does not need to be addressed. No consistent leaks are visible as of last drive on May 25th 2010. Many of the hoses and belts have been replaced. The alternator has been replaced. The exhaust system has been fully replaced. Brakes are in working order, the suspension is in average condition. When you purchase this car you will enjoy an abundant of conversations with passer by's. I personally cannot wash the car without at least three people coming up and wanting to take a look inside or under the hood. You will not only enjoy the ride and feel, but also owning a piece of American history.
