1997 Audi A4 1.8 Turbo Quattro Aluminum Silver Clearcoat Slate Blue Cloth Interior No Reserve I am selling my 1997 Audi A4 as I am getting married this summer and we are going to a single car. This car is my daily driver so the mileage may increase slightly. I have had many parts replaced over the years and this car should provide someone with many more happy miles. This car was fully loaded when purchased new. The car retailed for a little over $28,000 when new and contained many desirable upgrades such as: Quattro All-Wheel-Drive System All Weather Package- Heated front seats Glass Sunroof Power Windows and Doors The car has a six disk cd-changer that was purchased at an Audi dealer. I have well maintained this car over the years including only synthetic oil changes, the key to long lasting Audi engines, and have used only premium gas. I worked for an auto detailer for several years while I owned this car so if has alway been well taken care of. I have all of the original manuals, even the window sticker. The car starts well everytime and runs well with the exception of the items noted below. The transmission shifts well. Brake pads and rotors were replace last year along with the two front tires. The rear tires will need to be replaced soon and the rear driver tire has a slow leak. Issues As expected with a car of this age there are several issues. I will list the issues that I am aware of but there may be more. The only major issue is the power steering fluid is leaking and requires additional Audi power steering fluid fairly often. There is also a large crack on the windshield over the passenger side. Recently it sounds like there is a small hole in the exhaust which is noticeable when starting and at low speeds. There are several what I consider minor issues. The first is the hood has recently become difficult to open and often requires me to remove the grill to open. I had the ignition and starter replaced two years ago and because of this there are now seperate keys for the door and the ignition. The remote I have no longer functions, may just need a new battery. The cigarette lighter stopped working several months back. Several of the bulbs are out on the dash. Easy to replace I just haven't got around to it. The front bumber has scratches on the corners as does the rear. There also are various minor small dings on the exterior average for a car of this year. The inside is clean with just a few minor stains on the carpet. Nothing major. This car is priced to sell with no reserve. Someone will get a great deal, well below KBB or NADA. This car is not perfect and the new owner will have to put some time and money to get a perfect car or they may find it best to part out. I am selling this As-Is with no express or implied warranty.
