things that have been replaced over the last few years alternator shifter bushings motor mounts trans mounts starter fuel pump regulator all bulbs headlight switch glove box dash pad door panels asst. rubber mouldings front brakes front suspension, a-arms, etc, shocks hoses radiator clock msd ignition boost system w/msd coil pertronix electronic ignition carpet driver's seat foam & cover for both seats, passenger not installed yet a/c system not installed but I have it, including all fasteners, original compressor, extra heater box, etc. painted 8 years ago, not even rubbed out yet california car with no undercarriage rust straight panels aside from a few door dings from use as daily driver drive shaft balanced, u joints replaced original collapsible spare tire this car is supposedly very rare because it came from the factory with the mach 1 suspension and 4 barrel 351 cleveland motor but had the deluxe trim which also included the three dash gauges(oil, alternator, temp), fold down rear seats, also deluxe interior which had the deluxe door panels and power windows, a/c, auto transmission, etc. has original radio also. it runs very good and can be driven away. It has the usual door dings, etc. from being used over the last 37 years. the only issues that need to be addressed are that it needs a new battery but I will replace it if it hits my reserve, the a/c system needs to be reinstalled because it was removed by the last owner for some stupid reason which many people seem to do but a 351 motor makes a lot of heat in the summer! the paint job was just an every day driver sort of job which needs to be rubbed out or I would redo it if I was going to restore the car to original. if you are looking for a car to restore and want a straight car to start with, this is it. it came originally from california where it spent about 30 years, then back to detroit where I got it from the guy who brought it back here and was going to restore it. It was always kept in a garage here. I was going to do the same, and as usual, never found the time so drove it around for fun once in a while, drove it through the dream cruise, and that's about it. I have the original dealer sales bill to the original owner, original warranty metal plate(which nobody ever keeps but I have this one), owner's manual, repair manual, wiring diagrams, original sales brochure, etc. the car is not perfect as it was used most of it's life as an every day ride, but it is the perfect starting point because it is all there, not midwest rusted as most are, has the right motor and trans, etc. if you are looking for this type of car, you know what this one is. the odometer reads about 29k but I am sure it has turned over from 100k already, I assume. there is a small dent in the driver's quarter panel behind the bumper which looks like somewhere along the line someone bumped into the bumper and pushed it into the corner. not a big deal but I just want you to know about it. there is also a small spot in the passenger door jam that looks like it was redone, just a few inches and you almost can't notice it, but I just want whoever bids to know all the issues so there are no questions and no disappointments later. it also has all the chrome or aluminum or whatever it is wheel arch trim on it which came with the deluxe model, another rare item. wipers work, clock works, all lights work, needs a new paint job and a new owner who can give it the detail time it deserves. this is the last year of the big motors ever to come out of detroit before they started making those ridiculous mustang things they called cars in the mid 70's. car is sold as is where is. must be picked up in Michigan, suburb of Detroit. I will not ship it. paypal deposit of 500.00 within 24 hours of winning auction. payment in cash or certified funds at pickup within a week of auction closing.
